Go and ask that question to Ademola.

Do you know these are basic requirements in most top academies at even age 13

Stop capping... Lookman is two footed..he can use both feet well..

Basic requirements in academy bla bla.... The academy can't alter your genetic makeup from teaching you how to do this and that.. Some players are predominantly left footed just like we have people who are predominantly left handed..

Salah and Robben are two players who are predominantly left footed and played on the right wing for most of their careers just like Chukwueze..they hardly cross...they cut into the box and lay passes...

Go to an academy and ask left footed players who play left back to start playing on yhe the right and be delivering crosses if it was the easy...

The good thing is that he didn't turn down Marseille for a team outside Europe's top 5 league because of money..
If he keep up his form at Nice,he might just secure a bigger move in a few years time...

Smart decision if you ask me

Sorry chief
Do players get a cut from their transfer fees?
If yes, is there a standard percentage or is it at the club's discretion?

No, they don't... although in some case, there might be a clause in the players contract that stipulate that they get a percentage of their transfer fee..but it isn't very common.
However, their agents are entitled to a percentage of the money. 10% according to FIFA rule..
But again, all these can easily be manipulated cus some players use friends and relatives as their agents, and such percentage of transfer fee given to them (the agent) would find a way to their (the player's) pocket.

Thanks for taking the time, I remember Komekn said Taiwo got Β£1.7M from his transfer to Forest
Wanted to know if that was standard practice

If Lookman played for a better team than Leicester in the league, he would definitely score 10 goals at this stage of the season ..
Isn't Halaand tearing the league apart despite coming from a "lower less competitive" bundesliga?
Salah and De Bryune struggled for game time at Chelsea, they went to Italy and Germany respectively and they came back to tear the EPL apart... Quality isn't always enough..the form of the team you play for also matters.

Lolzzz that's because Salah and deBruyne took his advice then....

Chukwueze is a left footed right winger... How do u expect him to cross all the time with his weaker right foot?
That's my point. This inverted winger stuff has only given us ikedia like squirrel wingers whose only strength is running with the ball to the goalpost.

Nothing wrong with inverted wingers. We simply do not have personnel who play it effectively. Abeg don't mention Chukwueze. That one na Nepa. On today, Off for the next three matches (for Super eagles I mean)

Osimhen's goal in the final actually came from within the box after a nice square pass by Chinedu Madueke.

You are right. The shot I was making reference to was parried to corner kick by the Malian goal minder. He out muscled Mali's strongest player and best defender - Dante to take the shot

He, Okechukwu, Alloy Agu Kpakor, Iroha and Amokachi were the revelations of Westerhoff's Algiers 99 team. We can understand what happened to Kpakor, his village people were extra strong as he got a career ending injury at his supposedly last BCC game before going to Holland. Elahor surprisingly didn't last long.

Contract varies, depends on both parties, some players are smart and some players loyalty or longevity do give them financial advantage, for instance when Mikel left Chelsea he enjoyed good financial pay cut but generally player doesn't have any right

Yes Uche Okechucwu was the biggest revelation. He did well than Andrew Uwe a professional at Algiers 90... Hmmm Moses Kpakor was about joining Feyenoord but got injured in his last match for BCC lion of Gboko and the injury rattled Westerhoff till he discovered Sunday Oliseh....Elahor was magnificent at Algiers 90 and till today i didn't know why he fizzled out.I remember he went to Brondby in Denmark and it seemed Westerhoff didn't like the move and at the same time Ikpeba and Amuneke came into scene but they are not better than Elastic Elahor.

Good point,Lorient being better than Nice on the table doesn't equate them with Nice, good move though some might question him why not Merseiles but Moffi went for the best regarding the contract tabled by both clubs.

Inverted wingers function best in a 4-3-3.. I can't remember when last we played a proper 4-3-3.. Since the 2019 AFCON, Rohr went on a panick mode and was using 3-5-2, 4-4-2 and sometimes 4-4-1-1. Eguavon carried the 4-4-2 to the AFCON and Peserio is using it too.. I agree Chukwueze isn't consistent enough, but the formation we're using isn't balanced enough either..

I agreed with you but we just have to make NPFL running and good leagues will definitely have good impact on our various national teams.Pesently we are having issue with our goalkeepers,a good NPFL would have been an easy place to fall back on,ditto to our midfield. We lost out in afcon and WC against Ghana due to our goalkeepers elementary errors and our failure to find the real third man in the midfield.Honestly a good league would have solved this,if we don't have solutions outside then we come home but the home is rotten.

At club level not National team! He plays on the right, you can't expect him to cross with right. He is simply playing to the coaches instructions. Salah, Mane, Vinicius, Rashford and Mahrez etc do not cross. They cut in or lay forward passes! Most left footers are unable to utilize their left unlike right footers who can use thier left.

Bukayo Saka, Phil Foden, R.Mahrez, says , B. Silva, Kai Havertz, Say a very big resounding No to you

To mention just a few left footed players.
