He meant that you should look for those accommodations that you will be paying monthly instead of yearly. For example, my friend used to rent one around Akoka back in the days. She paid like 70k for 3 months shared hostel. She doesn't pay additional bill after that.

Or, you could ask those who are about leaving their apartments to introduce you directly to Landlord. That would cut off agency fees instead of asking to be sent money.

Hmmmm....but they want 2 years payment @240k and agency of 250k. That's a yearly paid rent. Monthly paid rent is where you come every month and pay your rent per month. Eg, February, I bring 10k. March, I bring another 10k. That way, you would be able to afford your rent. Let your focus be on that type of rent.
