grin grin. Jokers of the century. Only in Nigeria they design naira notes to curb banditry. I have never seen this kind of thing before.

Like I will always say, it is very easy for bandit to get these notes. They have guns and all. No one wants to die, our forces can't guarantee your safety. All they have to do is just to threaten bank managers or whoever is in possession of the notes in their locality and is done.

No matter how smart you are, you cannot defeat a team if you want to operate on a solo level. Before you implement a policy, discuss that with people. You will have varieties of input, don't just assumed you know it all. It doesn't work that way.

See calling me worse than Donjazet will not earn you an insult because you are not even worth the trouble🤭.
Like I said we can pretend about this.. Try to twist and turn..
Also the igbos would not suddenly complain about this if it was not real but like I said.. Let's pretend 😎.

I don't know what else these folks want on this board to stop hallucinating tribalism up and down.

You have Northerners, Yorubas, Edos, Ibibios and even Muslim(s) on this board supporting your candidate, yet they won't stop wailing victimization and marginalization.

You've been cleared many times by sensible ones on this board that nothing like that is happening in Lagos or any part of western Nigeria but you won't just stop until we admit to your hallucinations.

May God heal you Guys........ Amen

And who are the sensible ones here.

Can you prove that the voter apathy in SE is different from the voter apathy in NC for example

You mean it was until the video of Theo jnr came out before Abians knew what was going on in the state?

So before the video they thought their state was doing okay or it was Elrufai from Kaduna that destroyed the state?

How is your example of Wike different than what's happening with Seyi Makinde in Oyo State?

Despite Tinubu campaigning for Buhari in 2019 and even flying to Oyo to sway Akala to APC, the Oyo people still voted for PDP in both presidential and governor election

Or despite claims that Tinubus cousin Oyetola and his buddy Aregbesola were governors how did APC do in presidential and governor election in Osun 2019 and July 2022?

2019 despite Tinubu Osinbajo etc, APC lost Oyo and Ondo in presidential election won Osun by 10k votes

So what's this thing that you claim happens in only some regions?
What are you twisting?

You compared voter apathy in SE to NC, then you used SW to buttress your point. I have even lost the idea behind this discuss. angry

INEC to now transmit accreditation and vote figures live. Would this prevent a repeat of the Osun situation?

They did same in Osun now ( I think so) . What messed them up was the human elements . Some people voted without being accredited through BVAS and this made the figures of actual voters to exceed accredited voters . That was why there was issue in Osun state .

What INEC should be telling us is what they will be doing differently that would not make the Osun issue repeat itself .

Probably. They and we the commoner will know in real time where overvoting happens.

The plan I believe is to make it less attractive to overvote. Not like it can stop it completely

The whole idea of cancelling a PU because of over-voting doesn't even make sense, you already have data of persons that got accredited for that PU, so why not match accredited voters to votes cast to get valid voters instead of simply cancelling polling units?

I don't think they did the uploading of accredited voters online before, cause before now I heard the only part of the voting process where internet access is required is the uploading of the results, and every other thing can be done offline.

I have had something like that severally. I suddenly start getting likes off my old posts..and the likes comes within secs and mins of each other, I can tell its some one going through my post.

Yea, that's the idea, but then I can simply arrange for overvoting to take place in the areas where I know my opponent is strong and get the votes from those PU cancelled.

I was a presiding officer in the 2015 elections and I know for a fact that the card readers then had a list of all voters accredited through the card reader . For those who had valid PVC’s but for some reasons their fingerprints weren’t read by the card readers , there was an incident report form that was filled with their details . So at the end of the day if u add the number of those accredited through the card reader and the incident report form , it must not exceed the number of registered voters for that polling unit .

Now I learnt after subsequent elections the process has been modified , incident report forms had been phased out and now only BVAS are the means of voters accreditation . It is said that the BVAS are capable of transmitting list of accredited voters and voting results in real time as per Osun election .

So what I’m saying is if that was in place in Osun and still the whole thing still got messy, INEC owes us an explanation of what what they will do differently between now and February 25 cos if the kind level wey happen for Osun happen nationwide , the election might become inconclusive and politicians of different parties who have spent good amount of money would not hesitate to unleash mayhem with the help of their political thugs o

Personally I think that Osun election should be cancelled outrightly by the courts and a fresh election ordered .

An election in which 185k votes was cancelled out of about 778k polled by both APC and PDP is definitely not a credible one. Both parties are beneficiaries of a fraudulent electoral process; just that one benefited more than the other .

The only incidents I remember happening was thugs coming to scatter ballot boxes in one or two polling units but definitely not widespread attacks against South Easterners. If SE people are being attacked and marginalized in Lagos then how do they keep winning legislative sits?

Thanks to you, Blueray and Disstroy if not they would have hoodwinked the less discerning.

Number of person's voting as a percentage of the states population is a good place to start.

Yes. So how do we get the population of each states in Nigeria

I think the way to go is as follows :

1. Select a particular election year ( probably 2019)

2. Get a list of registered voters in all the SE states and a list of actual voters in all the SE states.

3. Get a lot of registered voters in all the NC states and a list of actual voters in all the NC states .

4. Divide the number of actual voters by the number of accredited voters in each geopolitical zone and multiply it by 100 to get the percentage of actual voters to registered voters .

5. Compare and contrast the percentages to know who where the rate of voter apathy in each of the two zones.
