I used the DHA website for E-Visa last year so I've not used the VFS evisa website but from my basic search, I can confirm it's not fake. Few checks that confirmed the authenticity are 1. VFS has evisa platforms for multiple countries so it's not unique to South Africa https://indonesiavoa.vfsevisa.id/ https://suriname.vfsevisa.com/suriname/online/home/index etc https://southafrica.vfsevisa.com/ 2. The SSL certificate of the website (which is authenticated by different web browsers shows they are generated by the same cert authority. (see screeenshots). Unfortunately, Nairaland only permits 4picture uploads. However, if anyone still doubt it personally, please just avoid using it but let's not cause people to panic please. 3 Likes

KazikageSama: Thank you for this, Justwise can you see? At this point. If you still don’t believe this and still say the site is fake, then do you. Do what your mind tells you to do or which one your mind tells you to choose. But don’t label anybody as a scammer. Over & out! 2 Likes |

Please does it mean since October they haven’t issued any Study Visas to applicant (Either approved or Refused) if at all. Because I don’t understand what this delay is all about o. Since October!!!!! I have been seeing tourist sticker visas but you see study visas I haven’t seen just 1. This thing get as e be o. No matter the delay or issue at least one should have been released. Chai I never see or who knows anybody that applied either in Lagos or Abuja that have received a valid study visa sticker since October for 2023 session or is it deliberate because it is starting to look like. People have registrations to meet up with or what’s the essence of applying early ? Nawa 1 Like |

Update!!!!! Please the confusion some of you created here was never necessary. I had to go through stress just to confirm the E-Visa from the site you claimed wake fraudulent. Just to let you know that we were more that 10 passenger with the same pattern of visa and we have board and will fly in less than an hour from now. Infact, Kenya airways transfer all passengers going to SA to south Africa airways. They lodged us at airport hotel ikeja while waiting for the check in time of south Africa airways which is 5:30pm. As am talking to you now we are about to fly to SA. I love this package because I didn't pay for anything and am not transiting via narobi as plan. So both E visa are recognized as long as you can provide the email attached to the e visa either from vfs or DHA. I hope you will be convinced now 5 Likes |

Bursttt: Good day everyone here Please I have a question is it compulsory for a student applying for study visa the sticker one meant to pay his/her tuition fee before submitting his/ her application at vfs office |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Bursttt: 10:37pm On Feb 05, 2023 |
Offsetdrip: Nope it’s not. What the High commission wants to see is a bank statement that have enough funds to cover all that. It’s just you medical insurance that you need to pay. |

Hi Guys! I’ll be traveling this Sunday for a business trip in South Africa. It’s been a while I was in SA so I still have my old Yellow Card (issued around 2017) and I have since renewed my passport but my yellow card carries my old passport number. I am seeing a lot of messages about a new yellow card with barcode. Please advise on if there would be any issues with me using the old yellow card especially when the passport number on the card is different from my new passport. |

Update! Arrived South Africa at 5:30am this morning. E visa had a separate check which involve capture, finger print scan, and stamp on my passport. After which I proceded to my final destination. Please both site for e-visa provide by the group are genuine and verifiable. Infact most of us were with the 87 dollar application. There was never issue with it at all. 1 Like |

drered: Is it verifiable? If they should put your details on the yellow card site by FMOH, will your details pop up ? If it’s won’t don’t apply with that yellow card, instead go to port health at MMIA and validate it. |

Please how long did it take from when you applied till when it came? I applied (2 weeks tourist evisa) on 16th Jan 2023, my flight is 17th Feb (next week Friday), no evisa till now and no response from home affairs. I applied through VFS. ( dennis201: |

Moyosoore2001: It’s like that. I haven’t seen study visa sticker since September. It’s just tourist. Starting to look deliberate |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by drered(m): 10:22am On Feb 06, 2023 |
Bursttt: Thanks. It’s not verifiable on the portal. Just needed to check if would pose any issue at POE. I’ll just get another yellow card. Already paid. |

Do you have Visa already? If you do, then you are good. If not, you should get the new one before you apply for a visa drered: |

The TEL phone is working, you can call the South Africa High Commission-Consulate Section and tell them your issue. They said they have very large backlog and it’s overwhelming. Check out the number on this page. It’s starts with 094 http://www.dirco.gov.za/abuja/contact.html |

First time of calling this number in 8months and it went through. Someone picked and spoke with me... Now, she said... all application is processed in Abuja and not DHA... That, they only send data to them for verification. They have huge of backlog, the main reason for Study visa delay. I should exercise patience after 8months... It is well ooo. I am just at the verge of losing the opportunity. quote author=Bursttt post=120684254] Tried it again, it was ringing try using Airtel. It’s the second one you should call.
