So from what I’m hearing it seems it is only study visas that have been delayed. No one received response from the embassy from October till this day. No one was issued study visas. The better all of us come together and look for a solution the better for us.

Do you have Visa already? If you do, then you are good. If not, you should get the new one before you apply for a visa

Yeah. I already have a VISA

Are you currently in SA cos the content of this email seems like a response to someone in SA who has applied for permit but still waiting. If you applied for renewal of permit, there has been serious delay so they gave them a blanket extension till March 2023. This response has nothing to do with tourist visa or the likes but Permit , most especially for SA residents.

Yeah. I already have a VISA

Then you don't need it. It's really not required at point of entry. Just try to do the new one before your next trip.
Regards.

Okay. Had to clarify as it’s been a while I travelled to SA. Already got the new yellow card too. Just sent someone and got it in 3 hours.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers!

So no update regarding VFS e visa? Na wa oooo, one month and counting yet nothing, sticker visa too dey one side☹️. These people should just tell us they don’t want Nigerians in their country make we rest.

The TEL phone is working, you can call the South Africa High Commission-Consulate Section and tell them your issue. They said they have very large backlog and it’s overwhelming. Check out the number on this page. It’s starts with 094

http://www.dirco.gov.za/abuja/contact.html
There are no backlogs. They know what they are doing.

It’s only Nigerians they have this delay with and it is very sad. Those medical insurance people said it’s only Nigerian Nationals that haven’t resumed school for this new session that they don’t know why the embassy is making it too difficult for them to come. It’s very very sad. It’s not 100 percent their fault because if Foreign Affair of Nigeria dey work, we won’t have to go through this bad treatment. Imagine from September till now no one have been issued study visa from Abuja? This is a deliberate action. If you call them now, they will say backlog. Backlog from where exactly? They are having backlog but are still collecting nothing less than 120 applications in a day both VFS Lagos & Abuja.

They know what they are doing. Backlog and they are giving tourist visas. People that applied in january for tourist have started getting calls to return their passport for stamping. People that have submitted since July for study are still waiting. Is it not in September they asked them to start processing visas after the centralization at Pretoria?? No how no how people who applied September should have received a decision no matter how they want to verify their documents. The only people that can save us now is Foreign Affairs Ministry.

If that's the case, I'll suggest each and everyone of us contact Foreign Affairs Ministry and table the issue. The issue now is how do we contact them

We don’t know why they are not processing study visas. Since September!! We just need to make the world know what’s happening. We can’t just be silent. So many scholarship holders on the verge of loosing their scholarship if they don’t resume this month.

Even the tourist visa is not certain as it’s pure luck. Some people have also applied since last year and still waiting. I was reading a conversation about this issue on Twitter and you need to see the way people are lamenting and it’s no surprise that the vile South Africans can’t hide their hate as they said they don’t want Nigerians in their country.

At this point I’d agree with you. They don’t want Nigerians in their country. I wish I discovered this early enough. Holding passport for 8 Good Months. How can you justify that if not hatred. This one is refused, in our case they are not processing, passport is just in their hands

got a decision in October And that’s the last I heard. Twitter is the only solution, let people see and come to our aid. If we don’t talk now people’s passport will not only spend 3 months but a year in Abuja. Just imagine!! 8 months? China or Tokyo would never!! And these people receive thousands everyday
