Many students registered at home or a location different from their school during the 8 month ASUU strike. They have little or no time to transfer, unable to pick up their voters card or vote in their school.

Consequently, they have been disenfranchised!

They are adults. I had colleagues that go on leave to vote in their home states. They know what to do.

Last time I witnessed madness like this was during warri crisis.

The country has been done for a while now..
Nigerians are just going through the motions daily, like clockwork, with the only hope/succour being the one that Religion offers of a breakthrough either in this lifetime or Salvation in the next....

I don't think any other group of people can be this resilient except maybe in the face of War...If we were going to break up, we would have done so long ago.

We will live through this and worse economic times, nothing will happen and career politicians who do not have anything else except politics going on for them in their lives will keep on doing what they know how to do best....

On this note though, anybody that harbours any inkling of hope for Nigeria should vote P.O, if he wins, a rejig of the current Political Landscape may very well be born because Politicians at the federal level will realise that the power ultimately rests on people who can kick them out if they're motivated enough despite their scheming and whatever deals they cut amongst themselves...

Nowadays ehn, if u want to take care of Ur people na to take the time, withdraw cash nd go hand them the money o.

For those abroad, sending money to Ur people's accoubt alone doesn't do it again. U have to still find something give Ur cousin or any close relative to help u go ATM withdraw and hand cash to Ur people. If u have banker friend it still doesn't count cos most bankers are not even allowed to withdraw over the counter except the daily 20k limit vide ATM.

Over the weekend I had to make time out to go hand cash to my folks. Something wey be say transfer dey sort normally before and dem go either go bank or POS to withdraw.

Your colleagues are not students, they work, make money and make their own decision on all issues. The students may be adults but many are not independent adults.

Distance, time, safety, money and other factors affect their ability to move from school back to base.

BAT simply warned Osibanjo to never increase VAT cos it will affect purchasing power hence slow down the economy further.

He is advising them to rather reduce it to boost purchasing power and getting more revenues via tax.

Atleast you are onground to sort your folks; abroadians will have to sort someone to sort their folks. Buhari's APC is making sure everyone is touched.

It's double spending for people abroad o cos u will have to pay for the person's whole day which he will take to help u withdraw for Ur folks. If u need above 20k that means u will need the person to help u source for as many ATM cards to withdraw 20k in as many times as the number of ATM cards in the person's possession.

The ATMs "rental cost", the cost of wasting the person's whole day, and the cost of confidentiality ( Make the guy man no go dey loud am say u send Raba to just Ur immediate family members before multiple family taxtaions go hit u) will all be factored into whatever u are sending.

The economics of this thing mad gan 🤯
