Going against ur regulator publicly in any industry in Nigeria is almost suicidal. Now think of banks who from time to time always fall short of regulations and directives in their day to day dealings; they(the CBN) just need to bring out their cases of infractions and bury them once and for all if they ever take such public stand that appears they are going against CBN.

If any of those banks attempt to release any statement countering CBN ehn, CBN will be waiting for them when it is time for their books to be assessed and they will put touchlight in every necessary corners. People like Tony Elumelu(UBA), Aig-Imokhuode & Herbert Wigwe(Accessbank) dey run things low key for their friends in the political scene, it just take one of those press release u are suggesting for CBN to open their yansh and scatter their banks for them.

To the best of my knowledge, the main lessons Atum, who is an ancestor of ancient Egyptians, has taught is to use the brain (reason), abstain from religion or worshipping God, and embrace science.
