The fact he said gameover needs no interpretation. APC is back in business.

won't this lead to huge inflation?

It is a game, pure game. SC simply comes to the rescue of Buhari and Emefiele coz they've really messed up so much to come to the media and announce further extension.

Nigerians will rejoice and appreciate SC judgement I believe - a win win for everyone.

BTW......Peter of PSquare is behaving like Don J on Twitter. So Seun Kuti has no right to express his opinion again? Everyone must support Obi right?

Funnily Seun is even supporting Sowore not Tinubu, yet Peter said he has erased his Dad's legacy from History.

As in....... for what?

The old notes CBN re holding, they won't release it.

Nah...... old notes are still with Banks, hence I won't be surprised if they are loading ATMs with old notes now.

What I know it'll lead to for now is huge vote buying from APC as Adamu inferred. Whether it will lead to inflation, I'll leave that to the experts in the field.

my mind tells me this is and has always been the master plan of this naira redesign

Nothing has changed because cbn has achieved her aim of combing a whole lot of old naira notes..

And am sure they ain't disbursing it back

I think emefiele and buhari are still on course to thier plans.. only this time the SC ruling is just a plot twist

All videos of Banks hoarding new notes shared here so far had old notes in the vaults too. Nothing is being crushed, they are just withdrawing it.

did APC have lots of old notes?

Does any politician envisage this ruling there by not disbursing his)her old notes?

I think the CBN is still on course

He didn't mention PSquare in the first Interview, rather called Peter Obi an Opportunist. Peter came for him and his Dad, and he responded back that; PSquare played for Buhari in 2015.

Also, they've been used by Politicians for campaigns, thus they have no right to comdemning people not supporting Obi for this coming Election.

He actually did well in some sectors, infact better than most of his predecessors but he has fùcked up the economy with inconsistent policy.

Funny enough, most of these policy were in conjunction with the CBN.
Larride! Larride! Larride!
This is total BS, The economy is the sum of all the sectors; good performance in sectors will result in an improvement on the Economy, not this shitshow APC foisted on us.

Abeg na which sector Buhari performed better than prececessors? Like GloriousGbola stated, Buhari's greatest achievement is completing projects he met (besides I was suspecting he got hacked cos of his latest statements on Buhari 😀 )
Electoral reforms ?
Agriculture?
Health?
Education?
Security?
Finance?
Energy Sector?

I read the case will be heard on February 15th, after that we'll know whether CBN is still on course.

The old notes aren't the problem but not having the new notes in abundance how they want it. There was an APC event in Abuja yesterday and they were sharing the new notes as part of the souvenir. They just want money in bulk for this election that's all.

My only fear is...APC most especially has got hold of huge amount of d old naira, positioned for vote buying and d only way to fuked Dem up is dis policy..

If this is abolished with d fact that d money in circulation isn't much..d percentage of vote buying will increased wen dis stored money is being shared at d polls.

Love him or hate him, Seun Kuti comes from a long line of actual activists. Right from his grandmother. He may not hit quite the same notes but he is far superior to psquare who are nothing more than opportunistic noisemakers with a naked agenda.

Wàhálà! Wàhálà!! Wàhálà!!! I am not sure we know what we want yet in Nigeria.

Naira Scarcity: FG decision is killing us. Masses are suffering too much. Meffy Policy is terribly ill-timed.

SC Order: APC at work, they want to buy votes. They have enough old notes to buy votes, no wonder Garba tweets Game Over.

Yes I said it yesterday. How will Bubu feel about his sons dragging FG to court cos of his ill implemented policy? There's something not going on well at the top in APC.
