ASUU strike went for 8 months.

8 good months.

Show me one governor that went to SC to get an injunction to stop ASUU?

Pain ko, Window ni

This situation is different from ASUU strike o. I am quite surprised you people in the country don't understand how dicey the situation is. ASUU strike did not affect people's ability to take care of basic needs like food and shelter. People are raiding banks and bankers are climbing over fences to escape, people stripping naked in banks insisting on getting their money etc.

Nigeria is currently a tinderbox. One more thing might ignite a conflagration. If Buhari is sleeping on duty all the governors aren't. I think the problem is many Nigerians have grown used to anomalous situations and just accept every new crazy situation as just another day in the jungle. Jungle sef fit burn.

Common..... all these votes buying ish should stop pls. Pains are too much and People are getting fed up.

Until they begin burning things and EndSars 2.0 start you'll understand the Situation has gone beyond votes buying?
You're saying pains are too much now but just barely 2 days ago you were sarcastically mocking the same pains and the same situation.

A faction of APC suddenly cares and feels about the pain of the people days before the election. Where were they during, Endsars, Twitter ban, Fuel Scarcity, High cost of goods, Insecurity, ASUU strike, hike in fuel price...

Also Adamu's back in business tweet doesn't need interpretation. Don't try and feign ignorance here.

Wàhálà! Wàhálà!! Wàhálà!!! I am not sure we know what we want yet in Nigeria.

Naira Scarcity: FG decision is killing us. Masses are suffering too much. Meffy Policy is terribly ill-timed.

SC Order: APC at work, they want to buy votes. They have enough old notes to buy votes, no wonder Garba tweets Game Over.

The policy is good but ill-implemented..one would expect them to release more of d new notes to cushions d effect...not bowing to d selfishness of d gov or thieves alike who must have starched huge amount for vote buying since they blv d policy is majorly to curb vote buying..

We ain't suffering cos of d new note but it's availability..

Since when did gov thinks abt d suffering of masses?this policy is an eye opener to our greatest fear and Adamu just confirmed it

This here.

Buhari who was obviously shook by the end sars aftermath cannot see that this is exactly how the Arab spring stated. Some people literally do not have any money right now. And no one can call anyone else. If I send you money via transfer and it is food you need to buy in the market in potiskum, you are still fked

Some people are comparing 2 dissimilar events on the altar of partisan affiliations, it was the scarcity of bread that ignited the events that overthrown Omar el-Bashir of Sudan; people will bare the hardship of decrepit infrastructures but not their inability to feed their mouths. Limiting people access to cash without providing safe and secured alternatives is an invitation to anarchy that will not only consume the guilty but the innocent as well.

I am just saying that you can't interprete the move of the 36 governors as love and compassion for the masses

Are you aware that this policy was introduced in October 2022? How many governors made a statement concerning it? Obviously none

In this same time, PMS is triple the price; totally unrelated to New naira design. This has affected the price of every single commodity in Nigeria. Where are the voices of the 36 governors in all these?

If nothing affects our politicians personally, they won't react. Many of them are going for reelection and Senate too. So, unless we are all new to Nigeria, naira is used to mobilize and induce votes.

No, it means whether God exists or not is unknown. If the theists can provide evidence their God is the source of all things in existence, I'd stop being an agnostic.

Verses in the Bible or Qur'an or similar religious texts are not evidence but mere claims anyone can make and put in form of writing.

Thanks Larride for putting the blame squarely on whom it lies - Buhari.

People should stop trying to whitewash nonsense; Buhari DSS was hounding Buhari CBN governor in the midst of implementing people impacting policy, he did nothing.

This is Buhari F up, simple nobody should try to exonerate him, haba even prior to Tinubu statement, we knew mplementation has become problematic; all it required was him saying am suspending this eod.

It is this silly attitude of ours that make these politicians get away with murder, how can the country get better when we keep making silly excuses and keep failing to hold them to account.

I can't believe someone is still up here shouting Sai Baba with his full chest, after almost 8years of mess, SMH. Still waiting to hear Buhari leadership qualities..
It's a personal agenda for Buhari against Tinubu but we (the other Nigerians) are taking the positives.

Those bullion vans must be wasted. No Ghana must go politics in 2023. This is not APC primaries.

Ok. I mentioned Buhari because I want you to see how things were before Buhari came in.

He really tried in the Agricultural Sector. He came up with grow what you eat and eat what you grow. Fertiliser plants have really sprang up so also rice mills. I think before now we are the largest importer of rice from Thailand (1st position) but now we are down down below or not even in the rating anymore. You know Agriculture is also a means of foreign exchange.

Infrastructure too. He did well here too.

Social Investment Programme. He did very well here too especially when Osinbajo was the handling it.

These are the few I can remember for now.
How much have you been buying rice before and now? Who are the beneficiaries?

Buhari offered nothing. Even the bridges and rail lines were borrowed money, something any fool can do.

It's like u don't understand the question itself.

Yesterday u claimed Buhari is a good leader, now I'm asking u to mention why u think he's a good leader. What are the attributes u see in him that makes u allege he's a good leader.

Itemize those characteristics/attributes he possesses that makes u think he's a good leader. What has he done different than previous presidents that makes u think he's a good leader when compared to them.

None of what u listed up there answered my question. Remember he who alleges must prove.

I am not talking about love and compassion. Who wants to be governor of a burning state where the lives of his family members are not safe. A total breakdown of law and order does not benefit them. Nobody knew that the execution of this policy would be this chaotic, so i can't blame them for not protesting in October 2022.

Unless the reports i am hearing from people back home and all these videos being circulated are overblown. If people can't gain access to money (especially their own hard-earned money) bad things might happen.

Without the Bible the only other source is the intelligence of creation. Intelligent design. All peoples of the earth acknowledged creation because of its unique intelligent design, so they have a name or attribute to describe God. As an African traditionalist, isn't that enough to accept the existence of God?

This is total BS, The economy is the sum of all the sectors; good performance in sectors will result in an improvement on the Economy, not this shitshow APC foisted on us.

Abeg na which sector Buhari performed better than prececessors? Like GloriousGbola stated, Buhari's greatest achievement is completing projects he met (besides I was suspecting he got hacked cos of his latest statements on Buhari 😀 )
Electoral reforms ?
Agriculture?
Health?
Education?
Security?
Finance?
Energy Sector?

It is not BS.

If you want, we can do sector by sector and I will list what Buhari has done in each sector.

Buhari Achilles heel is the mismanagement of the economy through inconsistent monetary and fiscal policy and also his ban ban ban mentality.

It's not enough for me. When scientists discover and understand the origin of the universe, I may stop being an agnostic.

Then, I don't see any special benefits or privileges of believing in God's existence. Everything religious people enjoy, freethinkers also enjoy them.

Then, I'm not an African traditionalist. However, I respect African traditions (the good ones) and see a lot of wisdom in them.

This is why I promote them.

My mum went and deposited all the cash she had on her. My dad haa always been slower about doing this sort of thing and that is the saving grace. So they have his cash in house.

What the Supreme Court has effectively done is into stretch the current suffering of lack of cash till February 15th as CBN will simply suspend the release of new notes.

The implementation of the policy. Below is my submission when I was asked to analyze the political and economic effects of the policy somewhere
[1/30, 21:35] : Increase in Transaction failure/scam
As we towards the full adoption of cashless policy the financial institutions lack the necessary infrastructures to support the volume of transactions they will be handling, this will lead to high failure rate and poor quality of service. Also, scammers will be on the prowl knowing that large volume of transactions will be carried out via electronic channels, so they will be having a field day.
[1/30, 21:35] Political revolt
With the haphazard implementation of the policy and the attending hardship that follows suit due to shortage of cash and network failure, the ruling party should expect a backlash in the forthcoming polls. I guess this was the reason why the APC candidate lambasted Emefiele and PDP in Ogun and Benue s during his rally in the aforementioned states.
