Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has said that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, keeps sending prominent people to Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, the NNPP presidential candidate, to quit the race and support him.

Galadima stated this in an interview on Trust TV’s Daily Politics, adding that NNPP will win even in Atiku’s polling unit.
He said, “We will defeat Atiku in Jada Local Government of Adamawa State. Atiku is not in this race. Yes on paper he is but he is not a candidate. How would win, through what?

“Atiku is using religious leaders to appeal to Kwankwaso to step down for him, Atiku used former heads of state and prominent people to appeal to Kwankwaso, Atiku used traditional rulers, spent billions of naira to persuade them to go and talk to Kwankwaso to step down for him.

He used northern groups to try to manipulate and say that they interviewed the presidential candidates and found Atiku to be the best. They know we know, they could not achieve their vision.

“We are more northerners than them. Kwankwaso is from Kano and I am from Gashua. My village to the extreme part of the north is about 50 kilometers, so I am northerner than them and I am older.
Recently he (Atiku) sent some three prominent Islamic scholars to Kwankwaso’s house to kneel down for him pleaded to step down, we sent them away. Yes, who are they? We respect that regalia but if they remove it, we will ask small boys to deal with them.”

Atiku, Kwankwaso and Obi were all together in PDP in 2019. You get the hint.

Kwakwanso knows that his followers will loose trust in him if he backs down. He may not win, but I see that after Mr Peter Obi, he may have a better chance. Then Atiku will be permanently retired to Dubai or Cameroon.

Atiku shouldn’t stress himself over kwankwaso, we surely know he doesn’t stand a good chance and for that reason we know what to do.

I said the below earlier on another thread and I still stand by it.

With the way things are going there's no way Tinubu would lose this election unless maybe either Kwankwaso or Obi steps down for Atiku. But if they all contest this election, Tinubu would win.

Today, I observed the results of 2019 by region and decided to even subtract about 4m votes from what APC got in the north in 2019 and give majority to Atiku then Kwankwaso. After everything, I arrived at Tinubu getting at least 11m votes, Atiku 9.5m votes, Obi about 6 million while Kwankwaso about 4m. Accredited voters this year should be around 32-33 million.

There's no pathway to Atiku's victory at all. Tinubu stands the best chance to win this election. Unless maybe Kwankwaso or Obi agrees to withdraw from the race for Atiku, Tinubu would win the election.

Before you argue with me unnecessarily, you can click on this link to check my prediction in 2019.

After this election,Tinubu and Atiku would be retired politically, that is why they are desperate.

And Kwankwaso knows,he might be the next prominent northerner to assumed the presidency after 8yrs of Obi hence his refusal.

All this thing na game...no wonder Tinubu once vowed to take power by force knowing this time is the only time he has to be President.

We are watching but and I am sure that Obi is the next president.

One of the very good orator in Nigeria's politics is Baba Buba Galadima...

But..

Somehow, he curry his assertions too much and they are always full of lies grin cheesy grin cheesy grin

He was one of those people promising GEJ heaven on earth in 2015...He lose..

He was solidly behind this same Atiku in PDP in 2019...with lots of media hype ..giving President Buhari dirty jabs on air, just like Naja'atu is doing now, ..yet, Atiku lose...

He is supporting Kwankwaso now, if he says the sky is blue, Kwankwaso should better check to be double sure cheesy grin cheesy

Buba Galadima is the least person you should take serious when it comes to the politics of 2023.

Some Dumbos will believe him because they hate Atiku. Atiku himself said he's in talks with Kwankwaso and Obi. But to say he went as far as kneeling and begging? Nah!

Also I want you to know that Kwankwaso's influence begins and ends in Kano. He will not pose a threat to Atiku in any other northern state

And then finally, even in the morning of election day, kwankwaso might instruct his foot soldiers to work for Atiku. Aboki na Aboki

Atiku is coming

Are you okay? Are you blind to see that I subtracted 4m votes from Buhari's votes even though Tinubu wouldn't lose up to 4m of Buhari's supporters?

Don't bother to quote me again because I'd not dignify you with a response anymore.

Shettima never cried.it was propaganda by pdp.see what happened here...
This is d correct interpretation by Farooq Kperogi

*Shettima Didn't Say North Isn't Supporting Him Because He's Kanuri*

By Farooq Kperogi

News reports quoting Kashim Shettima as saying that the North isn't supporting him because he's Kanuri are misleading. I just finished watching the video in Hausa. He never said that.

He only implied that Atiku's supporters in the North who have popularized the expression "Naka sai naka" [yours is yours] say he's Kanuri in order to "other" him but that there's no difference between Kanuri, Hausa, and Fulani people because they're united by Islam and intermarriage.

He gave examples to buttress his point. He said Mamman Daura's father, Dauda Daura, who was a title holder in Daura, had Kanuri ethnic heritage; that Buhari's mother was Kanuri; that the Musa Yar'adua family in Katsina town are also Kanuri; and that he, too, a Kanuri man, has Fulani bloodline.

The Yar'adua bit isn't true except I misheard him. The Yar'adua family are actually descended from Tuareg immigrants to Katsina in the dim and distant past, but they are, for all practical purposes, Hausa, although I won't be surprised if they do have some Kanuri filiation through intermarriage.

I, too, have distant Kanuri bloodline through my maternal grandmother's side.

I don't say this to support Shettima, but to straighten the record.

The north is divided between atiku, tinubu and kwankwaso.kwankwaso is even more northern thsn atiku and a pure fulani, they prefer him.in 1993,the north voted abiola becsuse of kingibe against tofa.the not is not enthusiastic in retaining power since it is not their turn.but what is your problem.are yiy for obi or atiku?
