ahmedio2017: The truth is Canada is not a country you can Japa with tourist visa. When the reality set in, it won't be funny at all. Many that Japa with tourist visa are not being sincere. Japa-ing with tourist visa is well relaxed in some other countries but not Canada |

Hello guys, Please I need your advice. My mum applied for a visitor visa for herself and my brother, they were approved. They used DHL to send it to Abuja where they did their biometrics. They got an email today that the decision envelope is available for collection. Please I understand that they put up a link for one way courier and the account number on the Vfs page but how would the VAC office know where to send the decision envelope to? Please Is there anyone that used the VAC 1-way courier service for the return of their decision envelope, how did you do it? |

When your Visa is stamped it would be sent back to vfs. You will go to vfs in person to collect. What you should do is wait for a mail from vfs. |

My mum doesn't live in Abuja but in Benin. Do you know of a way to receive the decision envelope, via the VAC 1-way courier service, as they submitted their envelopes via the DHL one-way. DHL said they've stopped 2-way courier since Nov 2022. |

Good afternoon house, the platform have been so informative. I will like to ask if it is possible to apply for SWOP while VV is ongoing?. My colleague's application for VV was submitted online on 30/06/2022 while biometric was completed on 07/07/2022. However, there have been no update on the secured portal. Now his common law partner just got study permit while he is the dependent. Can he apply for SWOP immediately? If yes, when is the appropriate time to lodge the application.?. He also received admission to a college at ontario, should he apply for study permit instead? |

emmanick: Are you saying you got just 5 days more on your visit visa..... Sounds like you already overstayed your 6months issued to you on arrival. If that's the case, your already illegal. I hope you know the consequences of not having a status in Canada? Better leave now before it's too late 2 Likes |

House34:Thanks a lot! His common-law partner is only going for a 1-year graduate certificate program, as I can see on cic platform for 34 weeks. Will he still get SWOP approved if she gets PGWP after the program? For a year program, i guess the PGWP will only be 1 year right? |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by ednut1(m): 9:09pm On Feb 12, 2023 |
yemmywesey:people with permanent residence and PGwp full ground that can resume tomorrow. Why will any employer want to go through long process of lmia to work permit application. With 5 days to go either come back to Nigeria or claim asylum( which they will likely reject after 2 years) 1 Like |

Yupong:They’ll send you an email with details for their courier return from Abuja it’s about 18,000 I think and you’ll fill the courier forms and send to them. PS: I haven’t gotten mine back though 3 weeks after |
