So, saying those words about Miracle might not really be the reason for choosing Kbosicle, but it's good enough reason as Miracle has described how successful he's been in his business endeavors.

For Khosi, you also don't expect him to say he's choosing Khosi coz she's the love of his life or that he wants to date her. You would do the same if you were in his shoes. So, saying that him and Khosi are close and good friends and he wouldn't want her to leave, is a good and sensible reason. He's not being a coward about it.
