And oh, my opinions on Iheanacho are still current. cheesy grin. Stats show he has been bad, based on the standard you folks want us to use. He's been terrific over two games. But well according to history, he's had these kinds of spikes before after which his performances just drop off. It's quite straightforward and in good faith to ask for more data.
give us the data please let us see how he drop off and not because of benching

Gbam! I really don't know why they're condemning the guy. It is his life, his football career.
Has his career trajectory been disappointing? Yes
Is resurgence possible? Yes.
It's simple as that.
Premium oil dey your head!!!! But then again, truth be told, sometimes some monikers talk about him too much and seem to paint the picture that his inclusion in the team will resolve all the team's shortcomings. The excessive mention sometimes seems awkward. All that said, I wish Nwakali nothing but the best for his career even whether he plays for 9ja or doesn't. After all players like Owubokiri, Akpoborire and Obiku had somewhat good careers in Europe without playing so much for 9ja.

Where people miss it is that the question is, how do we improve our midfield play? For years, our midfield play has been poor. I am sure you will agree to that. So, how do we improve it.

A proposition is bringing in a midfielder that can offer a different approach to our midfield play. Most of our midfielders are not controllers. We hardly have a controller in the squad.

Midfield control is Kelechi Nwakali's specialty. (here is where some people will not grasp the point and read it as hype)

Specialty means what Kelechi Nwakali is good at, not that he is ballon d'or of midfield control. But in his attributes, he does this well and most of our midfielders can not do it like him.

It is not hype but there are things the other midfielders can do that Kelechi Nwakali can't do. (this is not running Nwakali down).

Now, with a midfielder who can dictate play from deep and exploit offensive spaces with long balls, we can have another dimension to our play.

No one said this is the holy grail to our midfield problems but a step to finding a solution. Also, this will give us room to make tactical switches, in case we want to make tactical changes in our play.

At the end, there are still folks that will read this as a hype and a claim that Kelechi Nwakali is the holy grail solution to our midfield problems. No one said so.

What I find baffling is that someone makes a proposition on how to improve our play. Someone else sees Kelechi Nwakali's name and goes ballistic. Yet, the person, has no solution to offer or an alternative player to bring such quality.

That my friend is hating and hating don't pay.

We are all disappointed but that doesn't mean he should be written off. He is 24 and he has been having an above average season so far.

You may dismiss me

But in my little football experience it's not always talent and ability but MENTALITY that is the core component for success.

Within mentality is humility, resilience, diligence, discipline, quest to improve and rise , overcome and overtake.

That's what VO is he was very weak technically and his football ⚽ intelligence near zero at Wolfsburg. But he realised, l got a lot to learn, he humbled himself with a never say die determination, he improved ,he Learned, he adapted, he pushed himself, he was never content ,he wanted more and has ARISEN. There is no discussion about top strikers without his name in the mix.

KC remained he has got to where he wanted beyond his wildest dreams. When he moved to Leicester he got £2.5 million in the bank 🏦 imagine what exchange rate then it was £1 to 250 Naira ( land and houses werva lot cheaper cement too) He was content football ⚽ became a pass time without any passion to RISE and make a name he has made the £££ ,nuttin remain, I have Arrived.

Isaac Success the waste Man was even worse big money enter hand ,brain scatter he even became over weight. Fighting 3 olosho in a 5 star hotel ,drunk and refusing to pay for services rendered.

Kelechi in a nutshell is a guy who began to celebrate before the goal was in the net . Living the lifestyle without actually being successful. He didn't improve he believed the hype his own and many who have hailed him here , Midfield maestro numero one, inside bottom of Segundo division. He has had too much opportunity but nothing to show.

Broz, God will bless you richly for this post. You will never know evil and anything you lay your hands to do will prosper

This has been the summary about my Gospel on these players you mentioned

Victor Osimhen worked really hard to get to where he is. He trained hard and fought tooth and nail to get better everyday. Am I there with him in training? Big No. But it's obvious from his play that this is a player ever hungry for more.

Sadly, most Nigerian players are not like this and that's why we don't see them play consistently. The moment many of them get to Europe or get 5good games of form, they drop off

You even forgot to add KC Nacho renting girls for team mates before a Super Eagles match. I swear, that dude is a bad influence. Notice the guys that were fingered in that scandal, their careers have fallen off, the likes of Onyekuru, awaziem and even Ndidi

When we talk, one intelligent buffoon even said I hate Igbo. I have never seen a statement that reeks of low IQ than that. So, since I've been praising Osimhen, does that make me Edo? Big No. We ought to call out erring players. Some of these players don't know the opportunities they are wasting until it's too late to make a change. Many teenagers and young adults are looking for agents to take them to Europe. Some of the may have better talent and hunger than our so called big boys but na opportunity them lack

Tell me why I would rate a segunda player and ask him to coordinate our midfield. Am I mad?

Is it that we don't have better options in the EPL. I would even take a prodigal son in Ebere Eze over that overrated buffoon in the segunda anytime. If he is that good, why is he still in the segunda? Do we know better than the scouts? Lollll. Sentiments won't allow some of you people to say the truth.

You see that "I have arrived mentality" is the bane of many Nigerian players. Coupled with the fact that it seems for many of them, they have a "sure shirt" in the National Team makes them complacent. This is an issue for another day.

I forgot to even mention hot/cold chukwueze. That one's case is beyond my comprehension

Lol...you can't be too sure bro. Most of those who are condemning the guy are doing so due to the frustration of the big disappointment Nwakali served us all. Even, I myself was disappointed.
But if he can make a big move eh, a single key pass from him will be celebrated by all here.

That’s what am driving at,career wise Nwakili need to put his club career on a strong note and make money for himself, national team to some players is secondary....

Yes Richard Owubokiri ,Jonathan Akpoborie,Mike Obiku,Mike Emenalo and Chris Ohenhen had very limited cap for eagles but they are very successful though they are educated.I remember when Sani Kaita was picked ahead of Seyi Olofinjana to 2010 WC,Seyi didn’t felt bad cos he knows where he was going and see Seyi now and where is Kaita.....our players should try and add something to their football careers, really happy for Awoniyi and Ndidi for getting university certificates.

When Peter Rufai faced similar situation just like what Nwakili is facing now he went back to school and was able to have certificate during that period and later made US 94 and Afcon 94.

Kelechi Nwakili@24 years old has next season to do the needful and don’t be surprised seeing him in oil rich league if he fails to earn good contract in Europe. These players want their life to be secured.....Check out Kayode Olarewaju and Raheem Lawal mansions in Lekki then you will realized need to make money as a player.

I wish Nwakili well if it is Turkey calling he should just go and enjoy himself with cool money.

You guys forget that Nwakali is playing in a country that prioritizes midfielders and midfield play so the indigenes will be 1st to be considered before anyone else... even Ramon Azeez had his own issues...

I think the best country for Nigerian midfielders is Belgium and Denmark and it also depends on the coach.... Mikel had issues with Conte and had to leave... Since Mikel, Bonke, Frank Onyeka, Ndidi and Iwobi have been the only Nigerian midfielders playing in top 5 leagues and even Iwobi position has been changed by several managers and Iwobi also has his struggles with different coaches since leaving Arsenal..

Nwakali has a skill-set of through passes, corner kicks, long passes that can bring out the best in the Super Eagles strikers and that's why he is needed in the team...

Against Tunisia he created a one on one opportunity for Sadiq by making a through pass to Sadiq which Sadiq missed. Now imagine if it was Osimhen , Lookman, Moffi or Ihenacho receiving that through pass and how we could have equalized...

football is a game of creating chances/opportunities and taking those chances. Nwakali can create chances that can put S.E 1 or 2 goals ahead and the entire team starts defending that lead at least that's what Morocco did anytime they scored the first goal that made them reach the Semi-Finals of the World Cup..

Against Ghana, there was no player to create chances for the Strikers, Moses Simon was trying to dribble everyone, Chukwueze wing was un-used...

Against Portugal, the same issue, no player to create chances for the strikers...

two players S.E needs and are not liked on this thread are Nwakali and Chidera Ejuke...

I bet the renting girls for teammates by Iheanacho is a big lie. But, you will believe it because of your dislike for Iheanacho.

Iheanacho worked very hard in life to get to where he is. He did not pick it on the road.

Also, we are yet to see a club manager complain of Iheanacho not working hard.

You don't get to outperform Salah, Harry Kane, Son and Mane in a month by being unserious.

Last week, Iheanacho won man of the match with Son and Harry Kane in a better team.

I know most of you hate him but stop pushing a false agenda against him.

Meanwhile, some Leicester City fans are praising Iheanacho's mental strength. That the kind of knocks he has received in Leicester City is enough to destroy his mental frame.

However, Iheanacho seats on the bench without complaining, when the chances comes, he takes them with ease.

Our boys are good and mentally strong folks.

Glad you admitted you wrote Osimhen off. I never did.

Finito.
