He argues and uses false stats to support nonsense arguments The same person that wants us to hype iheanacho because he outperformed kane and son in a match where the entire tottenham team played badly lolll...... 2 Likes |

Truidstar: LOll You remember Someone not even ranked as one of the best midfielders in Segunda division...SEGUNDAAAAA Some players are favorites, so nothing their delusional fans say will surprise me Let me even say it boldly, Osimhen has never gotten the level of hype the other guys have gotten until very recently. This is the truth except we want to start lying to ourselves 6 Likes 2 Shares |

TheGoodJoe: I know you find this hard to believe. If statistics were the beginning and end of player assessment. There would be no need for a team of players and game analysts as well as video analysts. We would not be sending teams of scouts to watch players up close and personal. There would be no need to write up a player review. We would simply jump on one of the plethora of site's purporting to carry out players analysis and statistics. Clubs would on that basis alone buy the players they want. I know too many football club recruitment head's and officers, none of them look at stats alone. There are other things mentality, work rate, discipline, adaptability, culture, skill sets, technical ability, physicality, pace , resilience, etc , etc. When I talk about players with any depth 75% of the time it's players I've seen up close and personal. So I am giving you a first hand deduction and view, sometimes that view is augmented with talking to the coaching staff associated with the player. On the odd occasion I may speak 🗣️ with his agent as well. 1 Like |

jihday: Yes you absolutely can. Because football is a very short term career. As a recruitment head you will come across literally thousands of so called promising players. If they cannot show the promise, there is no time to waste you simply look for those that are showing it. If in the future he starts to show his promise, then you can go back to him. But your always looking forward not much backwards, this is the harsh reality of football ⚽. 2 Likes |

komekn: Your just writing long talk with no substance in it. The point is that we need an alternative to the kind of midfielders we have. We need a midfielder or even more that can control the game from deep with long balls, and also dictate play with combinative passes. All you typed up there shows that your suggestion has no contribution to the point. You are just wasting time showing us that you have no person to offer. So, stop the slagging off Kelechi Nwakali because you have no alternative. If you do, tell us the player and why you think he offers these attributes. If you can't show us that the person can offer it, then rest. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 12:08am On Feb 15, 2023 |
komekn: Because you really do not know what you are talking about. You can not write off a promising 18 years old player because of a career dip. That is absolutely false. Harsh reality is that you make so much gaffes on this thread and try to sell it as knowledge. 1 Like |

komekn: If you have no stats to show us that a player can control the midfield and dictate play with short and long passes. You have no means of showing it, then you have nothing to offer. Just read people make contributions and bring points to back it up. Even if you hate the player and wish the player fails, soak it in, read and pass. |

LEICESTER STRIKER KELECHI IHEANACHO IS A DEADLY EFFICIENT EPL STRIKER The 26-year-old Nigerian, once of Manchester City, is the 10th most efficient player in EPL history in terms of minutes per goal/assist, in other words, how long it takes him for any direct goal contribution on average. Leicester have scored four goals in each of their last two Premier League matches. Iheanacho has scored in each game. On average, Iheanacho is scoring or assisting an EPL goal every 111 minutes on the pitch. That’s decent going. Among players with 150+ appearances, only nine other players have a better ratio than the Nigerian. Look at some of those names! https://www.thesouthafrican.com/sport/soccer/epl/nigeria-striker-kelechi-iheanacho-makes-insane-epl-history-for-leicester-city-14-february-2023/ |

All those expecting KC to be consistent are expecting him to score in every game till the season ends. Something even Halaand will not do. Just give Iheanacho a run of games. And in drought, have a little patience like its done for Vardy. 7 Likes |
