House, pls I'm confused. A friend of mine wants to send me lump sum into my personal company account. But I want to send the money from my company account to my savings account which I want to use for proof of fund. I don't intend to provide my company account statement. Pls I need advice on better ways to go about it. Though I will submit the CAC documents.
Secondly, I have another company that has good amount of money in it which I also want to use as proof of fund but the problem now is that I'm not the only shareholder of the company. And I can't just send money into my personal account. Though I'm the signatory to the account. How do I defend that? Do I need to write to my coshareholder telling her my intention to travel?
Note that I'm self sponsored. |

Aphrodite007: Long post!!! (pls shorten post if you want to reply)
Been a silent reader, can’t thank you all enough for your selfless work, it really helped me. I‘m adopting ogidigan’s method because I think dropping a profile is important. I was desperate for peoples profiles to know if their circumstance was similar to mine.
1st time applicant (though I have an EE profile). 30 year old married (separated) female, self sponsored, living and working in the UK & Nigerian nationality. I studied computing in bsc & msc and I build business software so this is a logical progression- I explained this & that I wanted a promotion in my LOE as reason for study.
VAC: London Upfront med: Oct 2022 Application submission: 9 Dec 2022 Biometrics: 19 Dec 2022 Medicals passed: 3 Feb 2023 PPR: 3 Feb 2023 Sent passport: 6 Feb 2023 Received passport: 15 Feb 2023 Session: Aug 2023 DLI: UBC
GC key portal Education gap: 6 years Program: MBA Duration: 16 months POF1: 4 months bank statement showing 12 months tuition (rather than my total tuition, so just 80%) Source: Salary (Didn’t touch salary during the 4 months I needed for bank statement). Source evidence: Showed 1 months payslip and job confirmation letter. POF2: GIC certificate of 10k CAD for one year maintenance. POF3: scholarship of 40k CAD (50% off my tuition) POF4: Deposit of 5k CAD (uni refused me paying any tuition until enrolment)
Proof of Ties: Showed ties to Nigeria by mentioning my parents in Nigeria. Showed ties to UK with my residence permit, wedding certificate to husband (Brit), my registered company & tax documents, my property documents. Obviously not traveling with hubby so I used he and my sister that lives with me as ties. Also Mentioned how the average earning of my field in Canada is less than Uk so I’ll be inclined to return to the Uk (lol I don’t plan to).
Travel history : 9 European countries Rejections: 1 US visa in 2016 (due to my stupidity lol, I didn’t know what “residence” meant)
Docs submitted: - POF - LOE (with UK residence permit, registry marriage cert, Ielts result (optional), Change of name affidavit, degree certs, professional certifications, resume (I couldn’t fit it in the IMM doc). In my LOE, i wrote an explanation for proof of fund, proof of ties, reason for study (this is extremely important as it’s the 3 things you’re marked on). - The IMMs that applied to me. - Visa stamps on current intl passport. - screenshot of email from Uni confirming they didn’t want any instalment towards my tuition. - Upfront med cert - Letter for internship (coop work permit) - Conditional Offer letter (they were waiting for my transcripts)

Hi bros! Please, I need some advice on this. How does MBS work? I downloaded but they're all protected with password. Yes, I opened it after entering the password, but after saving and closing them, it still required password to open again, and the cycle continues. How does one unprotect it after saving inorder to use it for uploading as POF? Again, since these statements drop at the end of each banking month, does it mean I'll still go to the bank to request for a paper statement of recent transactions if I want to print before the end of the month or so... (let's say like 15th, 21st...) Thanks and God bless. emmyoddy:
From what I've read so far, they may check and you may be lucky, they will not check.
With MBS (my bank statement) they can check easily which is what's in Vogue now instead of printing statement of account.

Horlarjummie: Good evening house, please I need help and it's urgent. I'm a first timer here. I applied for MBA with my family. Myself and hubby went for biometrics 6th of Feb and on the 9th of Feb our medical and biometrics was passed but my hubby biometrics was passed in the 14th of Feb and it was only his medical that was passed on the 9th. Here is where the problem lies, 2018 October my hubby tried to apply for Canada PR through an agent with few of his colleagues at work, along the line it was discovered that the agent was a fake and the visa given to them was actually a fake visa. That very year when they got to lekki vfs, out of about four of them it was only my hubby that wasn't given the print out they were meant to take along for the biometrics, mean while the agent was with them at lekki vfs, so my hubby asked his own as he was told he won't be able to do the biometric without the print out, so the agent went him to speak with one of the state's over there handling the biometrics and hubby wasn't aware of what they discuss but after a long while he was eventually allowed to do the biometrics and by the time the visa came out, it was discovered to be a fake one which eventually spoilt their passport and hubby just find a means of getting another passport done. When they tried to investigate the whole process it was discovered that the visa was refused but no one knows how the agent got a fake visa vignette he put on their passport. Later my hubby's colleagues got a visa refusal mail but only my hubby was unable to get any refusal mail just like he couldn't get the document for his biometrics. When he was trying to know reason he was the only person who didn't get refusal mail, it was discovered that the agent didn't apply for him and he did biometrics. So the whole thing was confusing and we just forget about it. Now, this is where I need help, by the time our biometrics this year february was passed, my husband biometrics was traced back to that 2018. The one he did 2018 October 5 was the one that was showing on the portal while mine was showing 6th february. Meanwhile we didn't declare any canada refusal except for the UK refusal we declared. Please house what do you think we can do. How do you think we can go about this as we don't know what is at the back end and what they might have seen in their data base. PLEASE OO HOUSE HELP ME.We are can't even reach the agent again to ask him few questions in other to know what mail to send. We are totally confuse right now Tbh this situation seems quite complicated and it might have probably have been best for you to apply alone and then have him join you later. As of now I don't really know what kind of "help" that can be offered to you. All you can probably do at the moment is wait and see. As for your husband, were you with him 2018 personally or is this what he told you? because you won't even be allowed entry to the building without a biometrics appointment and your name will have to be on the printout at the gate. Like I said you probably just have to wait and then deal with any issues that come up |

From my young exp: 1. You will need to show your company account statement that will explain the fund source. Maybe you could send it to your Dad or Mom and have them send it to your account. You will make a gift deed for this. 2. I have a similar situation. How I am doing it, do a board resolution that the company will sponsor you for the program. Then an affidavit of sponsorship may be sworn by the most senior member of the company like the board chair to that effect. danherb: House, pls I'm confused. Hi Jummie, Please do you know why the UK application was refused? As for the Canada application, it seems they have your hubby's biometrics that is why you can see his, it will be better to add an LOE to state that though he tried to apply for VV in the past he abandoned the process due something like work related change etc. This will be like him claiming ignorance of the process, however I must state that this will be a 50/50 chance because we can not tell what IRCC have at the back end for him. 2 Likes |

When you request for MBS , you select the period the statement will cover, the passcode is sent to your email which is what you send to the embassy, they use that passcode to access the statement from the portal deployed to them. 1 Like 1 Share |
