These governors are so foolish

By the time all the banks shutdown operations, they will create their own banks
This is actually d end point .
Let assume CBN refuses to collect money from d banks...who then is at lost?

I think if he persist and CBN doesn't seems to shift ground....

Banks and other major establishments will have to shut down....and watch as d state burns

That's the annoying thing ; they do everything for political reasons. Dem no dey even out their own people for mind when dem dey take decisions as such. I can bet the branch won't open to customers for a long time.

The management will fear Dapo may revoke their C of O if they don't collect old notes, but they also know collecting old notes translates to a loss to them cos CBN won't take it off them. The wise decision na to shut down and claim no money at all.

The HOP of a branch in PH collected 2.5m old notes. I have no idea what he was thinking. The Zonal office of his bank has refused to evacuate it from the branch because they can't take it to the CBN.

The guy has tried taking it to the CBN himself but he wasn't successful.

Now the guy is stuck with a debt of 2.5m.

That will be the fate of any HBS or HOP who collects old notes.

Last last, all of them go kukuma close shop. Everybody go rest.

I still believe after election they will take all these notes from the banks. But the confusion for now

CBN officials earlier today were telling people to accept, The banks did as instructed by 5:30 the same CBN will turn around and deny their previous statement

What is the HBS or HOP expected to do

Is it the man below in the video that sent him a video to stop accepting old notes? Wasn't it communicated to him via a CBN circular?

If u no use Ur head for Nigeria, dem go use am for u!

In the spirit of being blunt and hitting it straight on.

Remember how immediately after the primaries in the first few pages of this thread up in June right down to November and November a certain Lieride was chest-thumping, daring anyone to come bet #500,000 which he has cooling that all structures are on ground for Tinubu to win?

Weeks later, Nigeria happened to him. We all know what I am referring to. The very system of ineptitude he's been defending for 7+years couldn't guarantee him the justice he so rightly deserves as every service deserves pay. If Nigeria worked like it should under a leader who truly has Nigeria at heart, wouldn't he get justice?

He should spend the #500,000 now. Oh! We can't access our monies? You will all learn!

Anyone interested in removing APC should go and vote Atiku

Don't labor in vain
This is Peter Obi's official photographer asking if Atiku is still in the race. These people are too ignorant. Delusion, top to bottom.

If Tinubu doesn't win, Atiku wins. No other possibility and that makes me happy as long as that Pandora Tax haven fraudster and PR hype job is kept far away from Aso Rock. cheesy cheesy

Tinubu wins. 2031 is Kwanwanso/Tambuwal (PDP) Vs Shettima/El Rufai(APC)

Atiku wins. 2031 is Okowa/Wike (PDP) Vs Osibanjo/Fayemi (APC)

One thing is sure, Aso rock will continue to elude the Pandora Tax haven fraudster like it eluded him in 2019.

This is the danger of relying on info u get online when the concerned party had already clarified it on every available platform. I'm sure u must have seen the flyer that has been going around since in the procedure (see attached)

Only a foooolish banker will see the directive attached and say he assumed banks were to be receiving old ₦1000 and ₦500 notes on behalf of CBN
