By the way, all of us supporting obi? What makes us think he wouldn't be much worse than his predecessors?

So of obi turns out bad tomorrow.. somebody will be using it to equate our daily life struggles?

Any person that is looking for any politician to save him is wasting his time because all of them are literally the same..

GEJ was a Bleep up as a president. he was a local govt chairman class persona elevated by circumstance to the highest office in the nation

PMB is a Bleep up as a president. he had a previous stint in the seat, and a reputation for being incorruptible - [something we all admit nigeria needs in a leader ] which incidentally is why there are attempts to sell a billionaire nigerian trader as a person of integrity

those who are still butthurt over gejs exit should realise, buharis failure does not erase gejs failures.
if gej had returned by now he would be even more hated than buhari is - because he would also have fked things up even more

Don't hold your breathe, Buharists/BATists did worse in 2015, and best believe they will do even worse than you've imagined if PO fails to perform.

Well said, na why i always say it is foolish for people to be fighting eachother over Politicians. Buhari thought me a lesson in 2016, and i gave myself brain afterward. I am supporting and voting for Obi, but doesn't mean i an not prepared to accept his failures and move on. I don't trust any Politician and certainly won't fight anybody for any Politician...

The reality is if Tinubu wins and bleeped up, he will rig himself back to power again in 2027 using all instrument of power at his disposal. The man is power drunk and an Emperior, EndSars massacre will be like child's play if that man becomes President. He doesn't like opposition and will use his title as C-in-C to forcefully crush any form of protest or opposition...

Peter obi is the least experienced and least competent of the candidates

His biggest noisemaker wished the man dead when he was in office

The only thing he has going for him is that he is younger and has a false aura of integrity.

So if your argument is that Peter obi is somehow suddenly going to miraculously become an efficient and competent administrator of the Nigerian entity, the jokes on you.

If there is any reason Obi should be considered, it is the fact that his victory means the people have come to discover that they have the power over their leaders.

Tinubu fought to end PDP's rule (I commend him for that), but he has now become the exact same thing PDP was; Rewarding failure with more time.

You cannot dissociate the man from his party, and it is true. Elements of Buhari's incompetent team will be part of it. Imagine a Ganduje that has his robbery on the internet, becoming part of those making our decisions. Let's not deceive ourselves abeg

I don't see Nigeria becoming better, but one thing is clear; If APC wins, we would come back 8 years later and wish Buhari was here.

Buhari and other APC politicians did same and worse to innocent Nigeria yet the stockholm-syndromed Lieride defended them.

Let him feed on that fictional #500,000 he kept boasting about since from June till December now that his darling Buhari and APC Governors have made the country a Banana Republic completely.

Cursed be NCW00000420 if he stops his support of Buhari at this point.

Always the BATstards trying to equate all candidates as bad because they support a morally repugnant candidate who should be in prison by now.

A candidate who was only governor of Lagos state for 8 years but somehow became the richest politician in Nigeria. Without any verifiable business.

This is who people support and then want to bring all politicians as the same as the narcotics baron.

LP and Obi supporters don't want tribal or religious politics in Nigeria again but they are still the same persons rejecting Atiku's presidency on the basis that the President he will succeed is from the same region and tribe as him.

That's my problem with these people, always inconsistent. Say something now, contradict it later.

If indeed you don't want tribal and religious politics, why does Atiku's tribe matter? Hypocrite!

Akpan is Disstroy
Pemimode is Larride
Who be Odumah and Okafor?

But Disstroy, you for no drag Larride personal ordeal into this. He is not the reason Buhari failed. He only supported him, which everyone has a right to.

His travails should not be used to troll him

I am Akpan, proudly. I'd be the first to tell you I am unrepentantly Ibibio.

Since we are mentioning names, Amoto94 is Ibrahim and lives in Okene. Ibrahim should be careful about pushing it.

I have no reservation about pointing out the evil of enablers of bad rulers. If he doesn't see the cognitive dissonance that he's a victim of the tyranny he props up, I'd point it out.

My lady couldn't go to work yesterday because she had to go sort naira notes for us at the bank. Even Bureau de Change have run out of notes. She came back yesterday tired and peeved. Still had to wake up this morning, make food for us and to the bank she's gone.
Saturday but she's running around instead of relaxing.

I'm a service provider. I have clients owing me. Transfers are failing. Some don't have the immediate money to pay me. I can barely redeem the transfered monies paid as cash. I am as much of a victim of the system as he is in more ways than one.

All due to Buhari and the ineptitude Larride still promotes.

I don't see Nigeria becoming better, but one thing is clear; If APC wins, we would come back 8 years later and wish Buhari was here.

Baba at this point I believe it's exhausting trying to convince anybody again. If the travails of the last 8 years has not taught the common man(not party faithfuls o) a lesson, nothing else will.

I engaged an elderly woman yesterday(She's a senior civil servant who works in the ministry of education). She was heaping curses on Emefiele for the woes of the common man due to the naira redesign and all. Then I told her it appears her curses are misdirected/not all inclusive cos I don't think she listened to Buhari's broadcast. She agreed she didn't listen.

Then I told her to try and check it out or read the manuscript. She should watch how Buhari used "I" first person singular pronoun in most parts where he talked about the policy. He kept on saying "I authorised", " I consulted", "I directed"... etc. I told her Buhari did it and owned it with his chest that maybe she should think about that.

This woman then went on another round of curses directed at Buhari and started talking about how he is doing all of this to sabotage "asiwaju" and he will be put to shame in Jesus name. She then ranted about how Buhari has misruled us for 8 years and that she has a 2018 graduate in her house which she still feeds cos he couldn't get a job under this Buhari administration ( Surprisingly she voted Buhari for second term in 2019 o; I discovered this from her asiwaju talks)

Guess what? She is determined to vote asiwaju of APC in 2023 and believes he will win cos he will get sympathy votes from people who feel he's being persecuted. She went on to talk about never contemplating voting Obi cos she isn't "Ọmọ àlè". Only an ọmọ àlè will vote for Obi leaving Tinubu. She is not interested in whatever he wants to do. At this point I knew my job was done.

What even intrigued me more about her was that she confessed she has relocated her PVC to somewhere on the island cos she wants to vote for a certain house of reps APC candidate whom she wants to win.(God knows whatever promise that person might have promised her and the political group she is leaning towards). She said her husband was even concerned that this one she's carrying the election matter for head as if any of her family members were on the ballot.

Now imagine the length that woman would go to vote APC back into power despite complaining of suffering under the same APC government.... There's no level of enlightenment that would make that woman not vote APC, she's made her mind up.

In Nigeria I believe the people know the truth but the truth didn't make them free. Why? Because they don't want to be free!

The politicians are enabled to be evil by those of us who prop up their anti-people acts.

I repeat, even with his trials like most Nigerians, Lieride continues to prop up the evil system which downtrods on the citizenry. If we had a system where court rulings are obeyed, he'd get justice as he deserves.

Damn it! Even the Inibehe Effiong, AAC's national legal adviser whom I suggested to him would turn him down if he ever finds our Lieride supported flouting of court rulings. Inibehe has said this much publicly.

I withdraw any empathy for such people. I have state it here and a thousand times on Facebook. My full names should be attached to it for posterity.

Evil enablers would all learn. I have no empathy for such people as I do not enable them.

Ajimobi, a sitting governor lost his senatorial bid in 2019.

Saraki as a senate President lost his senatorial bid in 2019.

Buhari won against a sitting President in 2015.

Are all these events and many others that have happened not enough to show to the people that they have power over their leaders?

If you are unpopular, you will lose elections in Nigeria. What are you on about?

That's why I dislike the demonizing of people for making their political choices.

Many good and genuine people voted for Goodluck because they thought he would make a positive impact unfortunately it didn't work out.

Good people again voted for Buhari in 2015 thinking things will improve it hasn't quite worked out that way.

Now some people will be voting hoping their choice wins to finally bring positive transformation but truth be told their are no guarantees.

I've already made peace with the fact that however wins will not have a magic wand to change the country overnight but as an incurable optimist I can only pray things get better.
