EmmanuelScott1:It's even a good thing that this issue has come to light, at least it's become clear that the issues of extra-judicial killing in Anambra (and probably the South East) kind of go beyond one governor. It was on this thread that someone posted that community chiefs in certain parts of Anambra legislate on whether jungle justice (beating then burning) will be meted on criminals. There's a strong relationship between communities that normalize jungle justice and one where police officers pile up cadavers of criminals/non-criminals that have been killed extra-judicially. In addition to taking strong action on police officers engaged in these kinds of things, there needs be serious re-orientation in these regions, because na from the communities these police officers dey come from too. 3 Likes 1 Share |

larride: I think the reason why most people are against MC Oluomo transporting sensitive materials for this election is because he's a person of interest in this election. The link below is MC Oluomo joining 5 million march for Tinubu. I don't think it's morally right to still allow him go ahead with the logistics considering he's not minced words to state that he will deliver in this election for Tinubu. I have no problem with him and his union being in charge of logistics beyond that https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/558729-mc-oluomo-others-lead-apc-five-million-persons-rally-for-tinubu-sanwo-olu-in-lagos.html 9 Likes |

BlueRayDick: All the transport leaders in all the states of the federation supports a particular candidate or party. It doesn't stop INEC from using them to transport electoral materials since those materials will be accompanied by Inec officials and police in some instances sef. I know the uproar about MC Olumo because it is Lagos, if the reason is because Mc Olumo is pro Tinubu, every other transport leaders in all other states shouldn't be contracted either. Anyway I feel the best thing is for INEC to independently transport their sensitive materials without involving any of these transport guys but it will cost alot of money to achieve that. 1 Like |

Livelongnprospar, nice one bringing the info here about obi. You beat me to it. I'm really ashamed of the obidients here. Allowing wicked rascals to run amok.. People who can't tell you where their candidate is from or who his father is, that's the people opening mouth and you are just watching them spew the wickedness of their heart. While they themselves are exempt from everything. Not even being able to vote for who they are campaigning for. No be juju and wickedness combined be that?? 7 Likes |

Theflint1: This is actually very Informative, thank you. Now can this 3 kilowatt inverter carry let's say, at least 2 AC's simultaneously and a borehole pump singularly? |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 2:54pm On Feb 20, 2023 |
Donjazet2:It would depend on the horse power of the ACs, in theory, it would carry two 1.5HP AC's, but don't know how it would work in practice with many more variables pertaining to quality of materials coming into play. |

iamoyindamola: Your MD don dey twist history for head. Akintola and Awolowo beef is all about control of the Western Region. Awolowo left his post as Premier of the western region to contest for Prime Minister, he lost while Akintola became premier of the western region. Awolowo became leader of the opposition in the parliament while also remaining the leader of the Action Group and Akintola the deputy. This is where the problem started from. Akintola as Premier wanted AG to join the coalition government as he believe the Yorubas are losing the influence because of the refusal to join the coalition govt even after NCNC (Igbo dominated) joined. Akintola wanted an alliance with the Northerners while Awolowo doesn't. Akintola was also against the democratic socialism that Awolowo is known for preferring the conservative approach. Akintola sha started removing all Awolowo loyalist from govt and replacing them with his own loyalist and that's what led to operation wettie. 1 Like |

iamoyindamola: I know the story wella, I've been reading about Nigeria's history from a young age. The fight between Awolowo and Akintola was majorly about supremacy/who controls the party and by extension Western region. |
