samefiok: Omo bro it’s basically just a document to state that the money or whatever received is not a loan and the sender has intention of reclaiming it and also to show a commitment of love and support from the sponsor or whoever sent it to the primary applicant which is you. 3 Likes 1 Share |

I got a refusal this morning What could be the reason and What can I do please ? I am refusing your application. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/ section-216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors: • Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable). |

I had a third party sponsor with about 36m and I backed it up with my personal account where my dad sent me 2.5 as my co-sponsor. I’m going alone and I didn’t pay the tuition Bobomaigida: |

Danilvex: Your sponsor is supposed to pay part of your tuition and send living expenses into your account to show his commitment. You were also supposed to submit your pictures taken with sponsor to prove relationship. My one cent 2 Likes 1 Share |

emmyoddy:Hello If the sponsor is a parent, do they still need to transfer a part of the living expense to the student or all funds can be in the sponsors account? |

Danilvex: I suspect they did not assign any weight to the third-party sponsorship, is the third party a relative, ie do you bear same surname? Also apart from showing the third party statement, did you show their sources of income? The answers to these will help you and request for your notes too |
