Wait a minute... When Raum and Donjazet were still comrades-in-electioneering, Raum offer Donjazet as the official stripper of the Buhari train and he gladly accepted it?

Our guy said "gladly". Like, " Just stripping? You know how many poles I have swinged from? Stripping is nothing. "

We have a Eurosoccer Section official stripper?

What in the hell is going on?!!!!!

I doubt vote buying has been curbed. I saw a video of APC supporters who attended the rally yesterday in Lagos being paid in old notes while inside a red BRT bus.

People like that will be asked to accept the old notes with the hope that if APC wins the election the whole naira redesign will be reversed or relaxed and those who got paid to vote with old notes will be able to spend /exchange the old notes for new one.

Let's just wait and see where all these will end sha.

Also, With all the stories of how Buharis guys have completely botched security of printing of these notes, na to share fake notes to voters. Who will know the difference?

I Don talk this thing several times ; Africans need to come up with the system of government that suits them, their culture, tradition and biases.
Yes. However, the mental capacity to do the highlighted isn't there. You need high intelligence, critical thinking skills, and philosophy to achieve it, the same things the average African detests.

Democracy is a system of government developed mainly by the philosophers of ancient Greece. The ancient Greeks took philosophy so seriously that they would do door-to-door discussions and debates on philosophical issues.

That's one reason why they could build the Greek civilization and made key contributions to science: Because they've many thinkers.

Sadly, thinkers are in the minority in Africa.

The truth is you can't develop as a people or society if you dread critical thinking and philosophy.

Democracy is a disaster for a country where the majority are illiterate/unenlightened, and sadly Nigeria ticks that bucket wholly.

Yes, that's exactly what Socrates feared about democracy.

In Africa, we need to come up with a hybrid system of government that combines the merits of democracy with those of monarchy, aristocracy, and other systems of government.

However, I don't see that happening in this lifetime.

Whoever wins the election cos the policy is geared towards election unless they want to preserve it for governorship as well

Buhari and Emefiele will not just tell people that their old notes are useless. Neither will Atiku or Tinubu given their recent statements. Na things like that go cause Arab spring

The thing calming people currently is the assurance that they will be able to change it once election or swearing in is over

Remove that and you will see massive protests

There's nothing like Arab spring anywhere. As of today the cash is already circulating and people are adjusting. I also believe the new notes will be pumped back into the banking system even though it may not be in the same proportion as the old notes were mopped out of circulation.

People will definietly have their old notes accepted , but they will get exact new notes cash in exchange for it. All those talk about Arab spring na just politicians mongering rumors

The Arab spring is if the current situation continues even after elections which is old notes not accept3d and new notes not available

Apart from Northern governors sef, the PDP house of assembly members sef go cook for their party. They won't have any problem selling the presidency of Atiku to their kinsmen.
