The truth is that Ekpas boys have penetrated the rural areas and people are genuinely scared for their lives. People in the cities still have some sort of protection because of concentration of security forces. These ESN boys terrorize the villages at will. I still saw a video of some useless boys running around saying no election, last week some burning canopies at a rally and making old men and women lie down. Many are genuinely scared for their lives. So there must be a lasting security force by govt that can match those Ekpa and Kanu boys

I agree with your argument about Ekpa boys penetrating the rural areas and another or more Ekpas will arise. However, these guys are only enjoying relevance because they continue to use Biafra as a front to spread the gospel of violence in the region. I am not so worried about the ones in Nigeria and in the bush because when there is no funding, they will become hungry and go away. Also, they can't match the prowess of the Nigerian army, especially, if you shut their tap of financial funding. I am more worried about the ones that live abroad and use their reach to coordinate violence from afar. They are also able to get enough donation from within and outside Nigeria.

I want a slow and painful death for the efulefu if that time ever comes! I want to see him in serious pain, anguish and tears. He may never be truly remorseful, but the pain from taking 3 bullets intermittently until he passes will bring joy to my heart. He can not get an easy way out for all the sins he has committed. This has been my position. The country has to be firm and strong in addressing issues like these, particularly agitations that spread carnage and killings anywhere in the country, no exceptions. After nearly 2 years, people of the S. East region are finally defying these stay at homes and going around their business. The language for punishing them has to send a message, enough to deter others.

Asides the needless sensationist agitations, Sunday Igboho was fighting a good cause rallying up South West residents against murderous Fulani Herdsmen. His call to arms to defend Yorubaland was the incubator for Amotekun.

Don't lump Sunday Igboho with the others. I don't think there's any account of him asking his supporters to maim and kill. He just asked them to defend Yorubaland from terrorist herdsmen. Same thing Amotekun has been dedicated to doing.
