In Oyo it's calm as ever. Atiiku is doing well

I am not surprised, PDP Members in Oyo have vowed to work for him as against Makinde's choice.

My parents amd sister Don vote go house. Area is calm. It's mostly parts of Lag, Kogi and Obio/Akpor LGA in rivers that are on fire and I'm hearing the armed response is increasing.

My parents live in Agege which is both quite rugged and an APC stronghold. Both said they're voting for PO so I will call them now and check the temperature.

They said they would.
I haven't called them today to check tbh cos I woke up not too long ago. I'm still in bed sef.

Their PU is a short walk away from our house, and although the area is a very rough neighbourhood, I feel confident that they will be OK.

Ok thanks.

Lagos was always going to be a hotspot. So all that display of the military in parts of Lagos was just for show?

Really disappointed that thugs have again been allowed to disrupt what should have been a seemless process in Lagos.

1600 cool

OasisX:
Apparently other states in southwest are peaceful. I've not seen any news of violence in any state, aside Lagos.

Surprisingly Oyo State is calm as well.

I'm surprised about what's happening in Lagos this time around tbh.

Party ward meeting I attended last year, what we deliberately on was on how to get alot of people to come out and vote and also talk against violence as that will stop some people from coming out to vote. We need as many numbers as we can get, not all these ones.

First time this morning? Ahh

What kind of preparations did INEC do self?

I know you outside NL na, you are smart Doc. I am talking about a corper that doesn't know what the register looks like or what to do with it sef. One time, he was signing just one paper (Presidential). Ha to tell him to sign the others too na (Senatorial & HOR) grin

Quota system cheesy

Ok thanks.

Just called.

Mum is still at the PU. It's a massive crowd.
My dad got there earlier, has voted, and then gone to work.

It's very calm from what I just saw now...although for some reason, there were a metric ton of hijabis at the PU grin

My polling unit is a 20mins drive from where I live and there are polling units very close to me. It seems Oba is not informed.

I don't even understand him sef.

The funny thing is the north has been quite peaceful. All these violence in the south might just be paving way for an Atiku presidency of we are not careful

In places where thugs disrupted the elections, INEC should definitely rerun the elections in those areas!

Okay Ọba Saheed Elegushi is speaking nonsense now?! πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

He just asked a very dumb question now.

He said how come INEC allowed people who don't live in the vicinity of the palace transfer their PVC/polling unit to that axis despite such people not living in the area. He said they saw strange faces that don't live in the area with PVC's wanting to vote.

Omo! So must he know every voter before they are allowed to vote in that polling unit?

Oba no wan lose polling unit to PO cheesy

It seems its peaceful in South East too and other States in South South.

I think this makes sense. When the rerun will hold, the whole world's attention will be focused on those polling units and let's see the brave thugs come and disrupt it again
