Spy360: There's no election in Nigeria that can ever be free and fair in the truest sense of the phrase. From everything I've seen, this is probably the most free and fair election that Nigeria has ever had, and i'm being 100% serious. Minus the pockets of ojoro happening here and there, the results bear it witness, Tinubu lost Lagos - It is impossible to overstate this point. He also lost Osun that has voted APC\AD in the previous 2 Elections. Obi won FCT where the APC president lives. Tinubu has largely won where he was expected to do win. Labour has swept the entire SE. Atiku has won around 10 states and I believe has 25% everywhere. You need to show more than just wailing to back your assertion that people have largely not been allowed their civic rights. 6 Likes 1 Share |

nihilistjnr: I never said there's any. I'm only surprised Wike has always denied it and the rumors have refused to go away. Obsanjo for example is an Ogboni Member since the time he was in the military; his membership was even one of the grounds on which Olu Falae appealed to the courts to overturn his victory at the polls in 1999 cos he claimed its a secret society. |

Theflint1: Do you know Ameachi with all the federal might and intimidation could not see 25% in the state. Getting BAT 25% was decent work already and he still would have made his point. Without him, I doubt BAT would have seen 5% of votes. |

VoteTinubu2023:The easiest thing ever. Just behavioural psychology and mastering keyword research. Some harder than others. Even on this thread each one of us has left digital footprints that lead back to us offline, especially when in arguments and fights when emotions make you less rational than you should be. That random comment that you used to go to Mama Kofos bar in the 2000's close to XYZ school is a keyword to do comparatuve search. It's not rocket science. All it takes is for you to trigger ONE person enough to retrace all those footsteps and piece them together. Tedious but they'd form your image or a silhouette of you at least. |

FBS: Obi won 13 Sates plus FCT Tinubu won 11 States Atiku won 11 States Kwankwaso won 1 State. NB: Obi won more States than the rest, yet couldn't get 25% in 2/3 or simple majority votes. 4 Likes 1 Share |

VoteTinubu2023:This is how you people give people hacker reputations. No, bro. Where's the motivation? What have you done to me other then the regular election trolling? Revenge is the motivation for most people so don't needlessly trigger people enough to feel so strongly. A magnet in a haystack would eventually find that needle whether its me or you.. Revenge is that magnetic force. |

nihilistjnr:What do you say about the clear mutilation and the discrepancies of results posted? You can say it is not the worst election in Nigeria, which I agree, but not that it is the most free and fair. That's a huge exaggeration and flattery of the highest sense. The introduction of electronic transmission of results through BVAS meant that this election was overhyped. It was expected and supposed to be the best in our history. This failure is collosal because the very reason it was hyped was not achieved an inch. 4 Likes |

Spy360:The one way to have even prevented the upload of wrong results was to have them uploaded from the polling unit instead of gathering in bulk to start uploading one after the other...las las, this wasn't a case of typical Nigerian inefficiency, it was a clear and obvious sabotage that brought the entire election to disrepute. 1 Like |

nihilistjnr: Below is the definition of what Free and fair election is according to wiki A free and fair election is defined by political scientist Robert Dahl as an election in which "coercion is comparatively uncommon". A free and fair election involves political freedoms and fair processes leading up to the vote, a fair count of eligible voters who cast a ballot (including such aspects as electoral fraud or voter suppression), and acceptance of election results by all parties. An election may partially meet international standards for free and fair elections, or may meet some standards but not others. I taught government as a subject in the past and know what free and fair election is going by textbook definitions, but then I decided to just use Wiki to illustrate a fair idea of what is expected in a free and fair election. What happened in Nigeria on saturday does not have any close semblance with the definition above. Nobody is asking for a perfect election but when u consider the promises INEC made through its chairman before this poll and over 300 billion naira out of the national budget allocated for the exercise , mehn....This election is far far away from being the closest we have to a free and fair election. Except u mean people didn't actually lose their lives in 100's as it had been in the past, but when it comes to the process; Omo forgerrit 3 Likes |

Theflint1: There is nothing like that. We are still using ballot boxes and papers sir. Those Electoral Officers can use BVAS to snap the results sheet and upload. He said Presiding Officers has the mandate to use the Bimodal Voters Accreditation (BVAS) machine to snap election results documented on the results sheet from each polling unit and upload the photo of the result on the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IRev) for anxious Nigerians to observe. 1 Like |
