I will tell you Dayo has evolved over the years. 3-5 years ago Dayo when I know before, especially for politics thread would immediately go berserk, fire for fire with anyone that attacks him.

Dayo did not have boundaries during that period but he has slowed down. He is more accommodating and can now be influenced by opinions or positions he did not agree on before. Let me say it this way, he is now open to shifting from the extreme of his position if you make a good case against it.

So this leaping into the defense of him is very tiring when no one EXACTLY knows his own position on this!! When he gives political opinions , you still sense that his opinions on these things hasn't changed or evolved as you said..

Actually he has no choice because he has to keep his base motivated and galvanized. Had he conceded he would lose all momentum like air slowly draining out of a balloon.

Should he lose at the courts his supporters would simply say 'we told you so Nigerian judiciary has been bought' keeping him looking strong for the next election cycle.

I'll be keenly watching next weeks election to see if he can extend that popularity to his governorship candidates.
