When I read this post, I get the sense that you are saying that indeed the things he used to say or do were previously bad or he was more uncouth but in recent years, you personally feel he has withdrawn.

Even as recent as 2 weeks ago, this same person said "Obasanjo molested his own daughter" and that Obasanjos lineage should be eliminated and he stands by it. I just didn't have the time to go after that because of the election.

So this leaping into the defense of him is very tiring when no one EXACTLY knows his own position on this!! When he gives political opinions , you still sense that his opinions on these things hasn't changed or evolved as you said..

Let me remind you that what or who you are defending is a radical yoruba ethnic nationalist with a deeply begrudged genocidal animosity towards another whole tribe. When you understand this, you get to understand where his political opinions are formed from.

Your assessment of that post is hasty and more importantly, inaccurate. On this thread, I have been very strong in rebuking Dayo and his extreme tribal position against Igbos. On different occasions on this thread you have used my post of rebuking Dayo in strong terms as reference.

I have stayed away from campaigning for any particular candidate during this election cycle and have encouraged Nigerians abroad to respect the pain and suffering of Nigerians who live in Nigeria. For the most part, you will see me hating on @Itsrm MCM Wike. But I was clear when I said I was getting the feeling that the disdain for Obi’s candidacy was looking more like it’s because he is Igbo than a personal problem with P. Obi’s personality. I don’t need validations from anyone!

I have had decades worth of debates with Dayo that span across all topics and we have had our fair share of disagreements and in other instances convince each other. I have absolutely no problem calling him out when it comes to his extreme views which was well stated in the post you quoted. But if you think I would be spending my entire day close marking and obsessing about Dayo’s position on tribalism or ethnocentrism then I am sorry you would have to look somewhere else.
