Hi Everyone, I am trying to make payment for my UK visa application, but it keeps getting declined. Has anyone had this issue recently, and how did you resolve it? Thank you. |

Hanzat: Please confirm how much you have in the account and be sure if you can process international payments with your card. You have to use a dollar card. Be informed. |

Hello All, SOS Please I need help for information on how to reach the DMC. So my sister applied for visa in December with 3 of her kids, In January she got a decision email stating approval and end of January went to pick up her passport. However 1 passport was not returned. She paid for it to be delivered cos the TLS guys told her it may come with the other batches. It is a month plus now, no passport. She has written to UKVI, she has called the number on the website. No resolution. The TLS said it is not with them. The tracking shows it is in DMC. UKVI says it is in VAC. Over 8 weeks no concrete answer from any of these people. Please has anyone experienced this before? What was done to get a solution? Please someone should respond and help me please. We are now confused and don't know what to do. Thank you. |

Hello guys, I was recently refused uK partner visa. My husband is already in the uK, we made silly mistake in the bank statement. We want to start another pof now, the money is in my account including his school fee balance, maintenance and my maintenance fee too. I have the right figure now. My question is hope it’s safe for all the money to be in my account. @dduchess90 @lolade88 @Gloriyah Below is the reason for the refusal

Thank you so much. I don’t think I’ll be able to sponsor her. However, can my elder sister, who is here sponsor her ? Or would you suggest we raise the money and put in her acct for pof? She doesn’t have a job so she can’t show payslip. Would that be advisable? Raising the money and putting in my mum’s acct. Thank you Tutu82: |

Beautynm1:that is visitor visa. What you are speaking of is a visit visa. It is way different from a spouse visa. You apply for a spouse visa when you return to your home country and not while there. Go to the spouse visa thread for more information - lots of documentation to arrange 2 Likes |

User10011:If your elder sister has a decent pay then she can sponsor her that means she would be the one to write the invitation letter as well. Most of our parents are over retirement age so not having a job is not an issue.Showing she will have all she needs with no recourse to public funds is what the case officer is interested in. |

Goodmorning all, I applied for a UK tourist visa last year which was refused, i have worked on the issues raised for the refusal and now i want to reapply but i would like to use my other passport because i have dual nationality, i used my Nigerian passport previously. Although i was born here, i live and work here, but i am wondering if that's even possible to use a different passport to reapply or i should just use my Nigerian passport like i did the first time. Please i need advice. I know there are so many questions here that need answers, please don't skip mine. Thanks a lot |

Marviana: You can use your other passport as long as it was acquired legitimately. In your previous application, did you state your other nationality? 1 Like |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Nobody: 11:32am On Mar 03, 2023 |
Marviana: It is possible to use your other passport to apply for a UK visit visa in any country, whether you are resident there or not. You will still have to declare the refusal on your application form as your name and biometrics already identify you.It will take longer to process your application as you are not resident in the country of the passport you are using so extra scrutiny. What country is your dual citizenship? |

Good everyone. Am not a good writer so bear with me. Am planning to apply for UK visit visa soon, my salary account statement is what I will be using to apply, earn close to 450k and I spend between 200k to 250k every month. I do pay for some little things From that same account. And I married with a kid and my wife is pregnant as well. So gurus in the house what are my chances. Thanks |
