And, by the way, since most of you already know my names and Facebook, I tell you this:

My LGA is:

1. Where Lugard lived and signed the amalgamation of Nigeria. I can even upload pictures of a documentary I did 3 years ago.

2. Is where you have the Bridge of No Return and was one of the first settlements of the Europeans. There are a number of mixed people from my LGA.

3. Is the site of the 1929 Women Riot. It wasn't Aba Women Riot.

4. Is where Jaja of Opobo lived for a while after slavery before going off to rule Opobo closeby.

5. Is a tourist city through and through. Everything about it is designed for tourism. Both rides and the rest. I can connect you to tour guides if you want.

6. Is the only LGA in Nigeria which can boast of constant electricity.

7. Roads (including street roads) are all tarred.

I cannot help it.

You're... wait.

Oh my God.

Mehn, I encounter different levels of intelligence I never knew existed which each new BATist I come across.

Wait, you're seriously using a network issue experienced by ONE single number (individually for those three numbers posted) to justify an online server/portal that was supposed to be set up with over billions of naira and the most competent IT teams in the nation, who should have probably had more than four years since the last election to "train"??

SERIOUSLY??

Walai, the one shook me.

Now, aside the absurdity of your comparison or whatever that is, do you realise the same server we're referring to WORKS PERFECTLY for the uploading of other results, except the presidential?

Please, how did it not fail for the transmission of Senate and HOR results? If it was a "generic glitch" or failure, do you not think all the results being uploaded should have been randomly affected then?

Omo.

My omo is omo-ed. 😲😯

I really cut cap for you o. Take it. 🧢

You're comparing what is supposed to be a national server to a WhatsApp inbox... 😂
You can have 1 billion servers and an application can fail because it wasn't designed to scale as they hinted. You can spin multiple instances of the app, but a bottleneck from a simple caching system as you can't use public CDN for such app can cause a break down. The app can even fail from attempting to handle requests synchronously with billions spent on resources.

The application can fail because of network issue, as the only guaranteed stable practical internet provider for such PUs coverage has to be from some orbiting satellite(s), if you can do the cost.

Uyo? Eket? My LGA?

Uyo Metropolis. It depends on what part.

Eket. Forget it. Expatriates and moneybags have bought up most parts.

My LGA. Close to.the ocean. #7- 8 million. In the center close to the companies and tourist centers, varies depending on the seller. And most hold on tight incase new oil deposits are found in their backyards. cheesy

You dey advertise your state well. Good one. All the regions in the country can develop if Nigerians can solve the problem of poor leadership.

But sadly, things keep getting worse.

For the budget they have, I do not fuking care for any excuse!!!!

None whatsoever.

None holds water.

And if there ever, ever should even be a little grace to understand that some little bug or testing or whatever they might have overlooked because of real human error, there is no reason for it be of this MAGNITUDE that it literally changes the outcome of the election.

And Baba, Defender of the Galaxy; maybe you can humor me: why were there no problems with the Senate and HOR results being uploaded, but only for the Presidential results, nationwide?

Attah and Odili were the ones who fought for the 13% oil derivation formula. Its the reason Obasanjo fellout with his erstwhile friends, Attah of Akwa Ibom and Odili of Rivers.

When the money arrived in 2007, Attaj was going out. But Attah did a lot. The foundation of everything Akwa Ibom enjoys today is Attah.

He's an Architect so designed the international airport, the golf resorts, the science park, the stadium. He did some and with the money Akpabio got, he did more.

But Akpabio was a better governor than Udom but it's because Akpabio set the bar very high.

The good thing? Attah is alive, revered but never meddles in the politics. He refuses to anoint anyone since 2007 till date so all sides rever him. He refuses to be an active godfather.

Yup! Duke was popular because of the Calabar Carnival but Uyo was just as clean.

Duke focused on tourism too much with the money while Attah focused on infrastructure. When the excess money came, Akpabio focused on tourism, entertainment, massive infrastructure and mad image rebranding. He did well.

planning to relocate to akwa ibom for a long time ,and una girls ,oh ma basi.

If an Ibibio girl gets with you, you are hooked. If an Oron girl gets with you, no love portion can break it. So, no, when people say Akwa Ibom people take the bedroom game to a whole new level, I don't argue or find it condescending because it's true.

People who eat a lot of seafoods have been known to have a high libido. That's why an Oron or Ijaw girl can literally break your waist, and guys from there don't need aphrodisiacs.

Several. Ewet housing? Shelter Afrique? Countless estates and real estate firms.

The man whose campaign I handled in 2019 has a massive estate, amongst others. If you want a house in a smart estate in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, then you'd get one. Even if you want one this weekend.

The duplexes in the phase 2 are under construction so if you want 3 bedroom or 6 bedroom en suite houses in a smart estate fully tarred with electricity, CCTV and tbe ilikes, no problem.

That's really the difference between Akwa Ibom and the SE and some SS states. Their 1999 set of governors set them up for success.

When you look at Akwa Ibom compared to the dump that Abia state is you start to understand the importance of a good governor

Akpabio also did a lot. I heard he chop una money small sha but at least he performed. Udom also did very well with the Ibom Air thing.

Akpabio 'chopped' our money well but he did well.

In fact, Akpabio was building federal roads with Akwa Ibom money.
Ikot Ekpene - Aba road was built with our moneybehcih hasn't been refunded.

Only the Akwa Ibom part of the Ikot Abasi - Eleme road is good and pliable. Rivers boys frustrated GEJ in 2010 when it begun while Akapbio was spending money to augment it.

Calabar - Itu road (the Akwa Ibom part).

I don't know how many cities have underground drainage systems but by 2011, Akpabio had built an underground drainage system in Uyo and workers on standby to maintain it.

Under Akpabio when it was 100% mainained, 2 minutes after it rains in Uyo metropolis, you won't find a single drop of water on the roads.
Ask anybody.

Akpabio's dynasty would always be respected in Akwa Ibom for decades.
