It's obvious they were all shocked by the a result the presidential elections in Lagos. They obviously don't trust the party men responsible for mobilisation again and are taking their destiny in their hands now.

That Dayo Israel tweet after the Lagos results were announced says it all. The thing shock them.

But I still think sanwoolu will win the governorship elections sha.

The first thing that'll go up in this country when PO gets his mandate back is Nigerians' mental health.

This guy thinks only Obi has supporters in Nigeria.

"Obi is a man of peace.." yen yen yen. Na Today person start dey lose election?

Buhari lost election, Jonathan lost election, Atiku lost election etc. Some conceded, some went to court. Nothing special.

Lol, it's like you forgot what happened in 2011 when scores of Christians and Southerners were killed after Buhari lost the elections, or missed out on the violence that was unleashed on Peter Obi supporters across Lagos when BAT supporters feared he might not win.

There's a support base that resorts to violence on a regular, and we know who they are.

We can obviously see how tribalistic, uncouth and toxic some of these obi supporters are.

Most of these obi supporters are aggressively tribalistic. The mofo is even a tribalistic, sentimental and religious bigot. He’s humble because of election. Shedding crocodile tears on national tv to deceive his headless mob.

As far as they're concerned, igbos won Lagos for Obi.. Now igbos are claiming lagos is no man’s land? The Yorubas who supported Obi are the most foolish set of people i have ever seen in my life.
You forget call them Omoale🤣🤣🤣

APC polled 40 here, it was reduced to 4, while LP votes grew from 2 figures to 3 figures. This is typical example of free and fair election in South East region.

APC Lagos is afraid to lose, the result of last Saturday election shocked them. Imagine the Presidential and Governorship election were held on that day like in the 2007 election (i think), Sanwo-Olu don lule be that. This desperate measure is totally undemocratic though and should be jointly condemned by other Political Parties....

Statistica is wrong. WorldBank is the closest.

But download the GDP report from the website of the Naitonal Bureau of Statistics, Nigeria. It think they have as far back as 2013 or 2015.

Don't ever judge with Statistica. If you doubt me, compare what it says about Nigeria's total 2022 GDP and what the NBS published. At odds.

AfteeQ2, as global crunch hit and tech startups began laying off, the GDP from oil decreased. Sad because India makes almost as much money from ICT as half I'd Nigeria's GDP. We can do more.

Hi,

At the end of 2022, Oil contributed just 5.67% to the GDP of Nigeria.

Dont take my word for it, do the numbers yourself from the link below

Responsible citizens have accepted the outcome in good faith and are praying for Tinubu to succeed. If he succeeds against all odds, all of us will benefit from it.

This is a very privileged take.

A very privileged and insensitive take.

Even the most of us on this thread are privileged because we have the luxury of still coming online to come and be arguing post-election.

Some of us are speaking up on these issues, not because we would not be okay if we decided to keep quiet, but because it is the right thing.

As I am like this, I have eaten lol. I know that's a funny thing to say, but I just mentioned it to show you how I can have the energy to come online and discuss politics. There are plenty people out there who have not had anything to eat since yesterday, and still going hungry till this minute, is it those kind of people that wants to follow the court cases Obi is filing?

Those kind of people have put their hopes in this election and have survived the past few months on that HOPE, and nobody has the right to call them stupid and delusional. Now they all they've been yearning for and looking forward to has been crashed and yanked off from their feet, what exactly are 'they moving forward to?'

You are so insulated from the psychological damage this rigged election has had on people.

People stayed under the rain, queued from morning 'till night and brought their generations, because it YOU PEOPLE, you people that was shouting at us that "dem no get PVC, dem nor dey vote for social media", only for people to listen, go to unimaginable extreme lengths, traveling inter-state to make their votes count and to defend it afterwards and you're calling them irresponsible people who cannot move on.

Lol.

I've always the wutang series but nobody has really recommended it so I don't bother giving it a trial. I always regret series I download without recommendation, so I always wait for people to recommend before I download

That said, whether we are conscious of it or not, whatever Emilokan's "government" does, it'll affect a lot of people mentally. His ruling will impact people in every way.

Whether it'll be for the good or bad remains to be seen, but you and I can easily infer which one it'll be if we're being honest...

Nobody "choose" to "allow" Buhari's government negatively affect them.

His die-hard supporters, the apolitically neutrals and anti-Buharists all experienced the same things as far as his policies and the economy is concerned.

Thanks for this post.

Nigerians move on too quickly from injustice and irregularities, and that's probably why the country is the way it is.

There were irregularities in an election, just over a week after the elections, the person that won hasn't even been sworn o in and you're already saying people that refuse to accept the result are irresponsible.

People will have their own personal estimations of a Governor's performance.

What is most reliable is stats and facts.

The same way some people are still praising Buhari and carrying him on his head and saying he was the next best thing after sliced bread, right up until 2022 last year is the same way those people are never seeing anything good in Obi's governance after more than 5 years of his rule.

I can equally bring you glowing reviews and positive comments people have made about him during that time...
