Thanks for this post.

Nigerians move on too quickly from injustice and irregularities, and that's probably why the country is the way it is.

This is it.

This.

What even says justice and responsibility are mutually exclusive?

People will have their own personal estimations of a Governor's performance.

What is most reliable is stats and facts.

The same way some people are still praising Buhari and carrying him on his head and saying he was the next best thing after sliced bread, right up until 2022 last year is the same way those people are never seeing anything good in Obi's governance after more than 5 years of his rule.

I can equally bring you glowing reviews and positive comments people have made about him during that time...

I love numbers. Please bring the facts and statistics. Thanks.

By then it'd be Nigerian youths are not serious 😁

🤣🤣🤣🤣

You know.

We're literally following news, reviewing the election portal, campaigning, getting active, holding politicians accountable and demonstrating that true power lies with the people and you're telling us that...?

See, if it was Brazilian or Argentinian or Ghanaian youths that are doing what we're doing, they will use them to insult us ooo.

My main grouse with these kind of takes coming from them is; they should keep their stance one place.

You cannot believe this is "Nigeria" where anyhowness goes and then still come and shame the youths for lethargy tomorrow.

Is Nigeria bad or not?

If you believe Nigeria cannot change, then can you stop blaming the youths for not partaking in any process of change?

Don't dunk on them for being docile and dumb, only for them listen to you and decide to be active, you're now using the same system to taunt them and telling them to move on.

If you don't believe Obi did anything, even if the sky opened and a dove brought you an evidence of his excellence, you won't believe.

But if there's some form of uncertainty in your mind, and you have a genuine curiosity to be convinced of his records, then you should make your findings by yourself.

When will cbn honor the supreme court judgement? This cash scarcity is getting out of hand. To make matters worse transfers are not going. I did transfers to people some days ago till now they have not received the money.

I went to bank to collect money they told me they can't give me more than 2k. What do they expect me to do with 2k.

What is going on with buhari and emefiele, they should release money now.

When raumdeuter and other tinubu supporters called Peter Obi a fraud they brought proofs.
Magnoliaa and other peter obi supporters say he is not a fraud, but they are not willing to bring proofs. You said you can bring links to places where he was given good reviews during his tenure, oya bring the link na, you're now giving us story.

From this brief little piece, any logical person should be able to decipher who is a fraud between Peter Obi and tinubu.

Should that not be the FIRST thing on any performance scorecard?

This is a very privileged take.

A very privileged and insensitive take.

Even the most of us on this thread are privileged because we have the luxury of still coming online to come and be arguing post-election.

Some of us are speaking up on these issues, not because we would not be okay if we decided to keep quiet, but because it is the right thing.

As I am like this, I have eaten lol. I know that's a funny thing to say, but I just mentioned it to show you how I can have the energy to come online and discuss politics. There are plenty people out there who have not had anything to eat since yesterday, and still going hungry till this minute, is it those kind of people that wants to follow the court cases Obi is filing?

Those kind of people have put their hopes in this election and have survived the past few months on that HOPE, and nobody has the right to call them stupid and delusional. Now they all they've been yearning for and looking forward to has been crashed and yanked off from their feet, what exactly are 'they moving forward to?'

You are so insulated from the psychological damage this rigged election has had on people.

People stayed under the rain, queued from morning 'till night and brought their generations, because it YOU PEOPLE, you people that was shouting at us that "dem no get PVC, dem nor dey vote for social media", only for people to listen, go to unimaginable extreme lengths, traveling inter-state to make their votes count and to defend it afterwards and you're calling them irresponsible people who cannot move on.

Lol.

No wahala sha...

Make I nor tok again.

You are looking at my post in isolation forgetting that I was responding to something.

The guy I quoted was referring to Obidients who are saying we will all suffer because Obi lost. No responsible citizen should even entertain such thoughts.

Whatever you saw people go through, I saw worse and genuinely empathise with them.

However, what has happend has happened. What do we do? Keep complaining and crying over the next four years or pray he succeeds and turns the country around? At the end of the day isn't that what we all want?

I have chosen to do just that and it's the reasonable thing to do.

Chief, it's just one week after the elections, not 4 years...just say you've moved on and accepted things for what they are, those that think one week is too early to move on, allow them do their thing and probably stop calling them irresponsible for not moving on as fast as you have. Like someone said, even the BAT that won the election will not say those that have refused to move on are irresponsible.

Moving or not moving on from the outcome of the elections does not stop people from doing what they're doing offline. Someone can come online and be wailing about the outcome of the elections, yet they're killing it offline.

Alright, I understand you.

For the bolded, though...there is a third option and which is what Obi has chosen and the rest of us are behind.

What has happened has happened? So you agree the election was rigged?

I am wondering how many more things will happen, though, that you will excuse with "it has happened".

He has not be sworn in yet.

If you can pray/believe/hope Tinubu will succeed, we can also hope/believe/pray Obi will succeed, both in the court and in Aso Rock.

You know, it actually takes a lot more faith for you to believe what you do about Tinubu, but for Obi who makes it very easy to trust in him, to believe in him, by his actions, words, and records, 'everybody' is suddenly holding back and asking, "how do we know Obi will do well?"

We're giving much more graces to a person who hasn't given us much to hold onto (avoided media and interviews, insult people brazenly, employs political machineries, etc).

People that said we'd suffer after Buhari won in 2015, were they irresponsible or right?

People can access situations and make predictions, someone even saying we'd suffer in BAT wins might even know something you don't. I think if someone saying we'd suffer if BAT wins disturbs you so much, what you probably should do is ask if they have any solid reasons for what they're saying and not chalk it up as them being irresponsible.

The question you should ask is, do people become chief justices of Nigeria simply based on merit?

The answer to that question will tell you why some of us have no hope in the judiciary and should tell you why you shouldn't.

Funny enough tinubu wouldn't have won this election without obi and his surpoters. I don't know why they are wailing after helping him win. If they hate apc and tinubu that much they wouldn't have helped them win.

You the masses will keep wailing for the next 4 or 8 yrs while Tinubu and every other politician will go about living their best lives with the money they've stolen.

You better use your sense and focus on your own life.

Since we are in a country that has nothing to offer, you shouldn't be waiting for a good government till you make progress in your life.

If you are waiting for a good government before you make a progress in your life, nah Oyo you dey.

Some of us told you there's no point in voting cos Obi will be rigged out, you said no he won't.
Now the election is done and dusted and you are still here shouting he will retriever his stolen mandate.

Do some of you think at all or you are just emotional all your life?
Ask yourself who owns the judiciary, better stop living in denial.

APC will rule you for another 8 yrs whether you are happy about it or not, your priority should be making something out of life within that 8 yrs either in Nigeria or outside Nigeria.

My people better use your sense and don't waste another 8 yrs of your life supporting any politician unless if you are getting paid heavily, if not use your sense ooo.

Take this advise or you can continue being emotional.
