Yes people always forget that we are many with ethnic divides. We can't move forward if we aren't United which is highly impossible else we go our separate ways. Nigeria is blessed but our leaders have use ethnicity to divide us and do not forget religion as well. Starboytwo: |

Zaksart: Nigeria is certainly not a sinking country to me and many others. It may be a sinking country to you. It's quite disturbing how ignorant people are about the basic principles of life. YOU CAN'T CONFESS GLOOM AND DOOM AND NOT EXPERIENCE SAME.It will always be gloom and doom even in obvious abundance. I've NEVER at anytime allow the happenings around me to dictate what I SAY or THINK even right from the days of NOTHING. Looking back now, people that used to complain about how bad the government is are still doing so......with more venom! While a few of us that kept a gag on our mouth are swimming in abundance. shaybebaby: You can't set the differences aside by wishing. Nature is a very stubborn thing to override. However, it would take honest hard work of nation building (because we'll be creating a brand new nation for ourselves) and it takes hundreds of years to create a new nation, if not thousands of years. So far, we're not even in the right direction. 3 Likes |

Food is actually not cheap in Benin. As a matter of fact, food is cheaper in Nigeria than Benin. Got that food below for 1k cfa on my last visit. It's true that cfa is doing better than Naira at the black market, but Naira has a better purchasing power than cfa. This is based on personal experience. Zaksart: 4 Likes 1 Share

Nigerian are very funny people. They will support a disaster because of tribalism and religious and then run to another country who voted a better person to run them. Many people supporting Tinubu today when they swear him in will start leaving the country. When we run go every country who will Nigeria be good. Even as good as this country and as bad as Nigeria is Nigeria is still the biggest economy in Africa. We only have leadership problem, even the whole West Africa countries are not happy with the outcome of the election because they were hoping for Obi to win. The same way it hard for us is the same way it hard for them since Buhari enter because their economy survive on Nigeria economy. 1 Like |

Cantonese: That argument he is stating holds water I tell you. Population is a big factor in development. You didn't mention poor countries like "Indonesia, Bangladesh and Pakistan" they are also among 10 top most populous nations in the world even India on your list is a big shiit hole if you truly know that country very well. Despite infrastructurel development in China and huge funds in the hands of the Chinese govt, there are still tens of millions of poor people in rural China. An average man in smaller Luxembourg lives a more quality life than an average Chinese person despite the fact that the Chinese govt has over 200x more money than Luxembourg. Lesser population plays more role in development than even leadership. For example; India is the largest democracy in the world with the population of 1.4 billion. The media rate the govt in India as excellent. While govts in countries like Saudi Arabia or Qatar with the population of 2.6m and 35m respectfully are seen as autocratic or totalitarian regimes with no election and one family ruling for decades. Yet the average lives of a Saudi and Qatari citizens in smaller country and bad leadership is better off than a average Indians in supposedly good leadership. A family of 4 with total monthly income of 250k in Nigeria will live more quality life than a family of 10 with an income of 400k regardless who is leading the family. International standard is 1000megawatt for 1million people. Nigeria currently needs 200k MW for her 200m people while she currently has 7000mw. No good leadership in Nigeria will get 200mw in 15 yrs. It's not even feasible. But a smaller country like Benin republic with 13m only needs 13k mw or less for steady power supply thats why they are having it. 4 Likes |
