How on earth were INEC planning to get away with this shït?

This isn't even a case of hiding the electoral results behind the opacity of internal procedures. You guys published the raw data yourselves but called a different total score.

What was the plan? Omo I'm seriously confused

Without even checking the I-rev, everyone knows Wike rigged the Rivers election. That state election result cannot stand.

How did the op conclude everyone commenting on the Twitter thread are OBIdients ? For all we know , it was Dino a PDP spokesperson that challenged the result of the Ekiti presidential result .

I’m interested in how the Op of the nairaland thread drew his inference

Dino claimed there was over voting in Ekiti when he challenged the result.

It turns out that there was under voting sef and not overvoting as he challenged.

PDP is just grasping at straw.

Lots of cases have been decided on technicalities and that's what they're banking on.
They're going to court because they want to 'recalibrate' (read: wipe the data on) the machines before Saturday.

I strongly believe that the evidence now is just too overwhelming to ignore.
I just don't see how this result stands. Like, It's right there. THE EVIDENCE IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR EYES.
The only reason people are skeptical of a court rescinding this stolen mandate is because this is Nigeria, where it has never happened before for a president to step down. But if it happens, I don't think anyone would protest, because even the most ardent batist can see and agree that the declaration was very much premature.
Hence we don't even see any celebration in any part of the country.
Sometimes I imagine if obi was declared president, how we would see churches overflowing with celebrations, beers and chants overflowing in football viewing centers.

Cows colored in labor party apparels donning the streets. People out on the streets draped in Nigerian flags.
That would have been the pictures that would saturate the internet.
But an expatriate coming into Nigeria right now wouldn't know someone just won the presidency.
No news of celebration anywhere. The "victory" is mired in completely solemnity and controversy.
And I think that portends what the future looks like under tinubu.
That is because even the BATists know who won their PU.

Like A Thief In The Night

Mahmood Yakubu waited till midnight to carry out his crime. He announced the winner and handed over the stolen mandate to Tinubu while the entire country was asleep.

By the time it was morning Nigeria looked like a crime scene. Everyone was in sorrow except the gangleader and his cronies who were seen jubilating while looking at their backs.

Many Days For The Thief

The mistake Yakubu and Tinubu made was to underestimate the people of this country especially the young ones. These are not like the older generations where everyone would turn a blind eye and pretend like it's OK.

Ole Ole Ole

The thief and his accomplice would be caught and the stolen property returned to its rightful owner- the people of Nigeria.

Without even checking the I-rev, everyone knows Wike rigged the Rivers election. That state election result cannot stand.
The results that INEC themselves uploaded show that LP won the election and satisfied the 2/3 25% requirement.

Wo, I'm tired of you people's country abeg.

That's not possible. BVAS accreditation stats goes directly to INEC portal after submitting. Nothing to wipe.

If you have for others state that Obi won and was rigged out, point us to that direction.

Yeah I know . Na only Dino really complain about the result in Ekiti and his complaint has since been quashed . I’ve not really seen any evidence of rigging in Ekiti.

I don’t know why people on social media are moving mad about the result in Ekiti that is normally an APC state .

Is there data to this effect...preferably a polling unit by polling unit record showing LP won? It'd be absolutely crazy if INEC uploaded results showing different numbers from what was presented by state collation officers.

It is crazy.
If you have the time (and a moderate knowledge of Excel basics), go to INEC IRev portal yourself. Most of the polling units (around 160k of 170k or so) have been uploaded. Do the calculations yourself, don't take my word for it.

You can do it state by state, LGA by LGA or whichever way you please.

You'll see the farce that we have to face as a country.

For whoever want to listen.
I've heard worse on CLubHouse, a lot worse...was it not on club house that one idiot Maknun was saying Igbo's have bad blood and that Yoruba's sleeping with Igbo girls should only do so with bottles...and he was saying it with a picture of himself and his daughter on his DP. In fact, that GRV's wife's tweet on Yoruba ancestry that was misrepresented as being her wanting to use Yoruba's as guinea pigs originated from ClubHouse, and I was on stage when the tweet was first brought up there.

ClubHouse is mad house.

This GRV election matter has seen some terrible things being said, and most of the terrible things have come from those Yoruba ethnic nationalists in the APC camp.

The gap between APC and LP is about 2 and a half million votes if not more than that sef.

If you add Rivers and and even 3 others states to Obi. I don't think Obi can close that gap out.

.... let's see how the whole drama will unfold sir.

We know how this ends in Nigeria. Cases are thrown out on technicalities.

I'm saying that the results we're seeing on inec servers don't tally with what was announced, and not just in Rivers State. The endgame is to make sure INEC announce you and deal with the courts later. That's how it works.

But the rigging was so childish it seemed to be more spontaneous than calculated.

That's what I'm saying. And you don't have to agree.

The link that Larride posted, it's pretty clear what the guy posted is directed at the ruling class of the state, which if not for election season, most persons would on a normal day share.

Since this election season, I've seen and heard things straight out of the Nazi Party playbook, directed at members of a particular ethnic group as a whole, with the most vile of these things being said by Abrodians.
