These people are dangerous!

Who are the "these people" you're talking about? What group of people?

The people who believe they can only lose an election because it is rigged, and when they win, they credit their victory to their political party's popularity and acceptance.

They also believe when the court rules against them, the judges must have been bribed but when the court rules in their favour, they win on merit.

Obi has seemingly endorsed edeoga, do you think that seals it or is the rotation still a pretty huge factor??

Thing is that Gburugburu didn't perform. He's my brother but he failed hence they v0ted against him. Baba did not even win his LGA. i.e home & abr0ad he failed. Look @ what Umahi did in Ebonyi. About rotation? All three are 4rm Enugu East including the APC guy. So nobody will complain abt zoning.

Chimaroke? no candidate go wan align with him @ dis point in time.
I may have my bias however, all things being equal, I think LP will take 0ver the g0vt house.

From antecedents where similar things happened
There are 3 options

1. Cancel the entire votes from Rivers state

2. Order another election

3. Cancel the votes from the affected PU, Ward and LGA

I dont see how any of these make ELLU P to win the election or move from solid 3rd position

Obi obviously did not win the election but the irregularities and rigging is an avenue for him to make a claim, and i don't blame him for that. What i don't understand is why did INEC announce those results when they knew they were going to upload a different set of results shortly after?
The forces fighting against this country are many.

People were dying and some of us Nigerians were hailing the policy because they thought it would enable their guy to win at the elections.

I was coming here daily to see people dropping laughter and smile emojis when some complained about the suffering. I wonder if they would have dropped those emojis if their close family members lost their lives during that period.

So is naira change policy the only way to ensure free and fair elections and does that mean we have to change the currency every 4 years?
Or that we have to sacrifice certain unfortunate members of the community every 4 years like was done recently?

Classic gaslighting 101.

Of course Obi was rigged all over and that's a fact!!

Anybody with a sense of discernment and honesty will agree to that.
There is such a thing as voting pattern and thank God the evidence is right on our faces.

It is very illogical that Obi would outrightly win Lagos, then get less than 10% in the next door neighboring state Ogun. That defies logic.

It's very illogical that Obi would get almost 300k votes in Kaduna and then score less than 1 percent in the next door neighbor Kano with a voting population of 1.8 million.

With the help of IREV, people are seeing discrepancies all over the country. Obi scored 19 thousand votes in ado ekiti alone, meanwhile his entire awarded votes in the state was 12,000. Let me not even talk about rivers.

Listen, there is no need for us to argue whether Obi was rigged or not. Unless you choose to be completely dishonest with yourself, then you know that is the truth!

As for the court judgement. Of course it is also rigged against obi. The BATstards like yourself are very proud of that fact. So why the attempt to gaslight as if you don't know the odds are stacked against obi?

Obi was called a nobody, a noisemaker yet every tool of obstruction has been placed before him, all machineries of the state has been employed against this underdog. And only a bad person fights against an underdog.

An empathethic person naturally gravitates towards or roots for the underdog. The question is, "are you"? Are you empathethic?

There are controversies of scam around him. Especially from Facebook.

Now, I, personally, haven't verified.

But I haven't still seen any logical rebuttal or address of those allegations. Like, they've not been cleared, he's not cleared himself.

A lot of people whom I follow and respect on FB who gives unbiased, cerebral takes have had one or two unpleasant things to say about him.

Although, some others also have their own good experiences with him. He's an activist (but more like Deji Adeyanju, Segalink, Reno to me... you know these guys have their "good" sides too).

But overall, I get some weird, uncomfortable vibes from him.

He may be a philanthropist who operates an NGO, still there are shady reports about him.

He's not as clean as a whistle.

That was why I had problem with INEC chairman hastily announcing the winner of the presidential election without listening to complaints of different parties contesting the results based on the form EC8 results they have at their disposal .

I chose not to engage APC supporters here and outside this thread who kept on saying parties should have raised issues at the local and state level collation . It’s always sweet when such recklessness like INEC displayed favors u…. U won’t care whether anybody’s waling is genuine or not .

Just imagine INEC uploading results on their own portal that is in contrast with what they announced ? How will anybody ever trust INEC again to conduct any kind of credible election ?

As far as I’m concerned , they can as well announce the winners of the governorship election at 6am on Saturday before voting starts sef . We don leave am for dem to choose our leaders for us .
Peter Obi has filed his case challenging the fraud called election. I don't believe in the Judiciary anymore, it would be interesting to see how they give Judgement based on the real results on INEC Irev portal. No Nigerian President has ever been removed by the court, but their is always a first time for everything...

My theory is that Wike had his men deliberately over inflate APC's figures so that it would be so obvious it would get cancelled for Rivers state.

First aim operation stop Atiku winning.

Second aim stop APC without making it look obvious he's working against them. Keeps him looking strong as a major opposition to APC who didn't sell his party out as long as the PDP senators and HOR win convincingly.

Come to think of it why isn't the Labour Party abusing Wike for running things for PDP for NASS posts but only angry at him for rigging for APC as per presidential?

What are the expectations from the court?

How many states have been shown to have blatant fraud?

And whats the best case scenario for Obi within logical thinking?

For now people mainly point at Rivers state. If we cancel all the results for all parties in Rivers, does that make LP win nationally?

It's alleged that he got 25% in many of the states he lost woefully so if these are also rectified he will win. according to his supporters

I’m also very much interested in the courts particularly the final Supreme Court judgement on this election matters . I really want to to see how the judgement will pan out.

Recently the former AGF Aondoakaa was on AriseTv and he insisted INEC erred in declaring Tinubu the outright winner of the election because in 2008 the supreme made a pronouncement that the winner of presidential election must obtain 25% in the FCT. It will be interesting to see if the Supreme Court still stand by this decision or it will overrule itself on it.

I guess we don’t have any other option but to watch and see how things pan out sha

Do you have a link to Aondoakaa’s or interview or to that 2008 Supreme Court judgement?

I would be surprised if it’s true cos it makes no logical sense to give FCT voters inordinately more power than state voters.

One thing about these our electoral laws is that it seems our lawyers are either running a scam or are incompetent.
Why do we keep drafting ambiguous laws that are always open to various interpretations?
