I left Nigeria August 18, 2022, but I didn't apply for my family because my daughter's passport was not out yet, so I decided to finish 1st semester because submitting their application. On February 14, 2023 - the day my daughter turned 1, I sent a very emotional mail to all IRCC emails I know and also raised a webform Nairobi, Lagos and Abuja. Some responded with normal generic mail. 3 days ago I got a personalized email from IRCC saying that my application is still within the processing time and encouraged me to keep checking the processing time - which is 52 weeks, so I thought they are not working on the application and booked a ticket to Naija for next week. Seeing PPR this morning is still a surprise.

I thank Jehovah God everything worked out well.

Please guys, I don't know how to send family passport to VFS, any help or reference to previous post about it would be greatly appreciated.

At this point, i think something is seriously wrong somewhere. How can application submitted in September be ignored and those submitted afterwards are getting approved. What exactly did i do wrong? I have seen soo many December apps approved. Even those submitted in January are getting approved....

Firstly, I will advise you to drop down any docs that you know is not necessary, because, there's no way you will compress 42MB and get 4MB unless you want your docs to be illegible which is not good.

• Don't use phone scanner to scan your docs , they always contain larger size(MB).
• If you are still in Nigeria go to any business centre that use larger scanner machine, the output of pdf file will is always small with these machine, and you can still compress again at ilovepdf.com.

Lastly, here is another trick if you use iPhone, snap those docs as normal picture, make use they are all clear and legible, crop it to get a clearer view, then saved it. Transfer all the docs to your computer, is going to come as JPg, then use ilovepdf.com to convert JPG to PDF. You will definitely get a small size, clear and legible docs.

What i will suggest you do it reduce the size of individual documents first before you merge them. If you have a scanner at home, scan each document all over with lower resolution (dpi) but please make sure they are legible enough to be read. After this, you can merge and now further reduce the size if you have to.

Additionally, make use of unused space of some of your other documents. For example, in the space for proof of marriage, instead of just putting the marriage certificate there, add pictures and everything that has to do with your marriage,......In the space for POF, instead of just putting your bank statement, add everything that has to do with your employment.

Refusal 06 March 2023.
Reason: You do not qualify under the IMP as you provided insufficient information to demonstrate that your spouse is a full-time student in a qualifying program at a DLI in Canada. Refused under R205(c)(ii).
I submitted all documents apart from acceptance letter and enrollment form. Guys what should I do now?

Omo! I didn't include my LOA or Enrolment letter to my wife SOWP. I only submits my Summer & Fall semester Official transcript academic of record, and also my winter tuition payment receipts.
Let me go submit webform asap.

1. On the SOWP, the counterfoil that dropped is not a clickable document and no Introduction letter. Please, what documents do I need to receive?

2. On the VV, what are the documents that would be added to it?

3. While travelling, what are the documents that will be needed at the airport in Nigeria and in Canada for someone with SOWP and VV for an infant.

The counterfoil will drop for everyone first then the Introduction letter will drop for everyone as well.

We haven't received our passport though my children's own are ready for collection, mine just got back to Abuja and yet to be forwarded to Lagos.

My children counterfoil dropped yesterday and this morning their letter of introduction dropped.

Yet to receive anything on mine guessed I should have them soon as well

For travelling, you only need to go with the introduction letters and passports with your personal stuffs. You could have your bank statement handy too since I heard some officers do request for it at entry
