Well, if it was CIBC, CAD is recognised and your school would send you the invoice on the amount to be paid including the bank details.
What currency did you see in the invoice for flywire?

Can anyone help me please? I beg you. I know my post is long but I just wanted to share all the details so that there won't be a back-and-forth...

Eniolakate:
Hello All,

Please help me

I'll be 37 this year. I am married and we have a child.
I studied B.Sc Accounting at EKSU and graduated in 2011
I worked in the investment department of a bank between 2014 - December 2017. Since then, I did not get a corporate job so I started my own business (just a small one so no tax payment so far, and the business is registered in my husband's name)
I did TEF in 2021, and I scored CLB 6 so I had to stop my Express Entry race.
Now, I want to take the study route to Canada (but I am no longer interested in Accounting. I want to study Business Analytics.
Recently, I registered for a 6-month Google course on Project Management which I hope to finish in August. (I would have chosen a Business Analytics Google course but I couldn't find one so I picked the closest which is PM)

Other details:
My blood sister is sponsoring me for three-quarters of the money needed to study in Canada, while my husband is sponsoring me for the rest.

My questions:
1. Will the school/VO accept my transition from Accounting to Business Analytics? By then, I'll also be presenting my Google certificate for the Project Management course
2. I want to apply for a 2-year college diploma and not a Graduate Certificate since I'm transitioning.
3. Can I still meet up with Sept 2023 admissions or should I just focus on Jan 2024?
4. Which colleges can I try, please? It seems most colleges are not offering the exact course (Business Analytics).
5. I live outside Nigeria and I have applied for a Permanent Resident Permit in my country of residence. This may take 3 years to come out. I have a receipt and dashboard to print out for the VO. But is this enough home-ties to show? (We do not have any property in Nigeria or here. Although my husband has a corporate job and his own business registered in his name here)
6. or can we acquire a small piece of land in the village in Nigeria maybe by June, is that enough for home-ties?

You can choose either of them. Your bank will convert your Naira to any of the currency you choose and wire the funds.

Good afternoon everyone
Please is it compulsory to pay the first semester fees for Conestoga college before applying for visa?

I think it's compulsory from the admission letter, I got admission there last month but I cant pay for the first semester tuition fee. They said it's after paying we will get enrolment letter and the deadline is June 13.

Hello,

I will try to answer from my little knowledge.

1. Any school or VO can accept your transition. Having a strong statement of purpose for both the school and IRCC takes care of that. It needs to be strongly worded and convincing for why you would like to transit. You also need to clearly highlight the career or business prospects post study and why you have decided to take that path.

2. This also speaks to your statement of purpose. I have seen people who decided to do a college diploma even after a BSC and they were granted a study permit because their statement of purpose was convincing enough.

3. I think you should focus on Jan 2024. A lot of schools are already closed for September entry and you also need to give yourself time to apply to various schools and put together your statement of purpose without any pressure.

4. I am not sure about this... an indepth research might give you answers.

5. Do you plan to move with your husband immediately? If not, you can use him, his business, other family members around you, you can get a pet, a letter from your church, join an NGO and get a letter from them, social work etc. All of these can help as home ties.

6. This is a bit confusing, since you said you don't live in Nigeria... buying a land in Nigeria may not be enough.

Please what do I do. My documents are much which I want to upload, I even tried removing some documents but still it can’t be compressed beyond 2mb, if I compress it to 2mb it won’t be readable. Please any suggestion?

Please do you know where in Abuja one can do upfront Medicals?

Someone should help with this answer biko. The exact address of IOM and qlife is what she is actually asking for. Those that did their medicals in Abuja should kindly help with the address of the medical facilities.

That is the challenge of of the regular bank statement. It is always bulky. Why not help yourself out by requesting for MBS. It will save you a lot of stress.

Again you can combine the services of ILovePdf and tinywow.com. the combination will do the magic

GoodLuck

No. It is not compulsory except it is otherwise stated on your LOA. Conestoga requires you to pay only the tuition deposit of 1500 cad and give you date to make up the balance for first term. Once you make the tuition deposit, please proceed to submit your visa application.

Good morning everyone, I applied to NAIT, I have not received an offer of admission, but I received a request to complete an application for one of the scholarships in the school. Does this mean the admission is progressing well? Or is It is just normal to receive such.

Sometimes I wonder if some person’s google works at all.

Just a piece of advice, try to acquaint yourself with the resources in your hands. You’ll be moving to Canada, no one would be there to answer your every questions. Your phones should answer most.

I think it’s trust issues, but please sometimes trust your phone.

It’s not everything we should ask people, a quick google search can save you the ignorance. Let’s help ourselves.

I generated the invoice myself, I saw USD, pounds, euro, and CAD and then went for CAD. The school sent nothing asides directions to get it done.

Good morning folks...please is there anyone that has done WES transcript verification at Unibadan...i'll like to know what the process is like. Does WES send an email to the school with the transcript attached or is it a surface mail? Kindly assist with information...

You will need to request for your transcript from school. I did it in person(wrote letter to my faculty)but I heard it can be done online(not sure). Make some payment and give detailed address of where it should be sent to by courier. WES will update you if they have gotten it or not. Once received, confirmation mail will be sent to UI to validate the transcript. Once done, you will also be updated. You will have access to soft copy of the evaluation but make sure you choose a courier not post office to receive hard copy.

Diploma might be taking yourself backward, why not try Graduate Business Management program at Loyalist college, Humber College or Fleming College. they are all two years.

Teephour:
Good evening all, I'm a graduate of Microbiology with 5+ experience as a customer service representative in a Life Insurance company and I wish to switch to business administration/management because I intend to take over my father's business later. So my questions is if going for a college diploma in this program is okay because the graduate certificate program for this course I saw are mostly a year program and I wanted a two years program because I intend to apply with my family. I hope as a degree holder going for a college diploma is okay.
