I wondered why tinubu the drug lord will do him this dirty undecided

If you saw him in court today, that's how everybody was calling him my president my president

I just wish he maintains this tempo..

For me , he is already a religion

I have been hearing people say Lagos is no man's land. Unless it's just a way to describe how people of several tribes congregate in Lagos, it's a stupid thing to say.

The area is clearly located in the western part where the Yorubas dominate. I don't know the real history but even if it was conquered in the past, it still belong to the Yorubas. In terms of origin, it belongs to the Yoruba people.

Simple.

However, as part of a federation, anyone is permitted to live, do business and contribute to the welfare and growth of any where in the country without fear or intimidation.

Hence, Lagos (just as every other part of Nigeria) belongs to Nigerians.
I make bold to say the talk of Lagos is No Man's land is a political talk that originates mainly from politicians looking to ride on tribalism to get votes.

In fact the people that say Lagos (read: Eko) is/was part of their territory before the white man and still lay claim to it are the Edo's and they do so consistently and do so unchallenged, they may have a point though, cause in the video below you find HRH Riliwan Akiolu (Oba of Lagos) saying the first Oba of Lagos was from the Ancient Benin Kingdom and till today they still make their salute to the Oba of Benin...the Oba sang a sweet song to accompany the rhetoric too.

I attached a snippet of the video and the complete video of the interview.

Also as regards the ethnicity of Eko, might not be sure, but historically was been a melting pot of different tribes from within and outside modern-day Nigeria.

Okpansukkaisbae, as peter Obi has unequivocally endorsed edeoga in Enugu, do you think this seals the deal?

Will this put an end to the confusion between him and nweke and will all obidients lean that way now? What's the situation on ground now like?

Of course, it's a campaign strategy. This whole talk of Lagos is no man's land wasn't there during the run-up to the presidential elections, as soon as the presidential elections ended, we then started seeing talks of Igbo's are saying Lagos is no-mans land, Igbo's are disrespecting our tradition, Igbo's are disrespecting our Oba's, Igbo's are invading our lands, your only business in Lagos are the businesses you own...it's all politics, emanating right from the top of the APC political architecture, but it's dangerous politics. I'm glad it's happening though, and a part of me prays Sanwo-Olu wins... might even vote him come Saturday.

This is their plan and it is working......I once held that view too but damn it,make the Grv win sef,I wan see the worst they can do....

Squeaky bum time for sanwoolu,if he eventually loses on Saturday,Heaven will not fall and nothing anybody papa fit do, patapata dey self will go to court....

What you said here is not really true and applies to ignorant landlords.

I am a landlord and I know.

The tenancy laws actually favour th landlord as long as he does not cross his line.

Whenever I want to quit a tenant, I issue him quit notice 6months to the expiration of his current rent. If he has already exceeded that time frame, I simply lure him to pay then issue the notice. I have evicted a tenant who just paid one year rent. When he saw the notice and wanted to push it to court, I laughed. His lawyer adviced him to beg me for refund. I did after deducting the like four months he stayed before packing out.

You can't go to court with your landlord and win. One day you will pack out and he will collect any unpaid rent during the duration of the court case.

The only thing landlords should avoid is forceful eviction.

Come to Lagos , u will undertand . Magistrates dey get case wey dey choke ; before u even get u date to hear the case in court it might take a month or two .

U won’t understand these things until u see it happen.

My family house is in a large compound that contains houses belonging to my dad’s brothers as well.

Problem is, they all stay there while we stay in Lagos and we also prefer privacy… we have this big plot somewhere else… close to the police station and nice area… big mansions are springing up there

I’ll like to live where you get an appointment before visiting me unlike now where people are discussing outside my window when I’m sleeping

That might be the only money I spend in Nigeria… I don’t see housing as profitable there

Certain persons might not like this as it'd bust the incredulous bubble that's become the Lagos Island real estate market, but it'd benefit Lagos as a whole.
