i do not believe you can be stuck in traffic when the train is coming. unless all the warning systems failed. in my own experience, there are usually people with flags who stop traffic for approaching trains

Most likely the BRT fault because the train is still on its rail track. The train didn't didnt derail.

It's always painful when avoidable accident like this happen.
