Ordinary BVAS we dey struggle, dey complain of network, talk less of E-voting or voting by mail.
Banking platforms up till today are still struggling with signal problems. They have enough branches around the country, enough to become a household name yet they can't virtually carry the traffic weight of their customers without hiccups and downtimes.
Sophisticated systems aren't for Nigeria, with this current mindset. They'll manipulate processes and figures. We'll be worse than China in terms of reliable statistics.
Here INEC wants to "reconfigure" the electronic materials used, to thwart technical investigation. Terrible country.
Sophisticated systems make meaning with sophisticated mindsets and refined values.
A compromising police force will thwart it's efficiency. A lopsided INEC will undermine democratic advantages, thwarting its efficiency on the long run too.
