Those parts you mentioned would have witnessed development by now if not for greed of Igbos like Aguiyi Ironsi that killed regional government..
The White men that gave us independence knew that regions governing themselves would allow them prosper and develop on the long run but because of greed to take everything, all the resources and all the jobs at the centre, Igbos killed regionalism.

Shut up,everyone knows that the South East is the poorest region in Nigeria. That's why you're all refugees in other regions. How many people from the North do you see in the South East?
Compare that to the millions that come to the North for a better life.
Osu people are the poorest refugees in Nigeria.
As you're typing on your phone, I bet you're typing from either Lagos,Kano,Jos,Maidugri,Port Harcourt, Calabar or Uyo because your region is a complete shithole and you can't survive there.

SIMPLY RELOCATE BACK TO BIAFRA LAND ! And see wonders of PEACEFUL Protests with out taking to the streets or fighting.

1. Who are these people who "dont want igbos to live in Lagos"? Are you trying to pretend that feeling insulted by ridiculous claims that Lagos "is a no man's land" is the same as saying Igbos should leave Lagos?

2. Who has said they " dont want Igbos to be in goverment"? Are you saying that expecting Igbos to compete for votes like everyone else - by making alliances and winning others over instead of insulting and threatening them - is somehow equivalent to wanting Igbos out of government?

3. Where have any of the people mentioned in the 2 points above ever said they "dont want Igbos to separate from Nigeria"? It seems in your own eyes all non-Igbos are just one single hive-mind, and different people can't have different opinions. How do you know the "One Nigeria" people are exactly the same set as those you accuse of wanting Igbos to "leave Lagos" and "out of government"? Where's your evidence?

4. In light of the preceding, the claim that

is purely a product of your fantasy. To the extent that Yorubas resent Igbo arrogance and insulting claims about Lagos, they would like nothing more than to see Nigeria split up so that uncontrolled immigration from Igboland can be stopped, nipping in the bud all the stupid boasts that "we developed Lagos" and "we own Lagos". The only reason you don't see more of such opinion on here is because Seun has made clear he doesn't tolerate secessionism, not because large numbers of Yorubas are "Igbo-haters" who love "One Nigeria". That contradiction is what you wish were true, but the opposite is closer to the truth.

Ironsi killed REGIONAL GOVERNMENT with decree during the Military regime Igbos ushered into Nigeria.
This is why we are asking for RESTRUCTURING to right the wrongs of Ironsi and co.. Obasanjo and the ones you mentioned didn't restructure so nothing changed. Still the corruption and reckless looting at the centre while the regions, states and LGAs rot away.
