UyaiIncomparabl: Honestly we don't Victoria. The U.K topic has been overflogged. And anybody suffering in the U.K is due to their foolishness and stupidity and not the U.K itself. Fine, the U.K doesn't care about you and only want your money but why don't you care about yourself by planning properly and having a contingency plan in case shit goes sideways? Huh? 3 Likes 1 Share |

Raalsalghul: Everyone has the mindset of as soon as the leave Nigeria, all their problems are solved. Everything should fall in place. I had that mindset initially, till I stayed 3 months without job thag I realise I needed to make things fall in place. I would have been like everyone opening pages here there with nothing good to say about my journey off Africa. Nigerians believe things should be done for them. I have left the country, therefore everything should fall in place with the barest effectort from me mindset. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Regex: People will always apportion blame without taking a look at themselves. Loser mentality! Almost everyone I've seen complaining about the U.K on closer inspection I've discovered have them selves to blame one way or the other. Recently spoke to a family friend that complained of how his family spent close to a month in Airbnb apartments because they couldn't get an apartment for themselves (Husband was the dependant and wife was the main applicant). I pointed out families that moved smoothly with main applicant going first, settling in and looking for a bigger accommodation before the dependant and their kids joined. He mentioned that he was told to do the same thing but he doubted that information and moved with his whole family at once. Shebi tomorrow na that one will say U.K is a harsh place? Abi? I'm all in for Suella Braverman closing that post-study route because the whole thing dey display the stupidity of Nigerians to the world. Notice: Indian and Pakistani students don't complain as much as this. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Regex: Lazy ones that failed to go simple google search about the UK or even employable course to study, they will cheat their way through visa application, landed in the UK with little or no money and start panicking the moment reality set-in, they rushed to Facebook or nairaland to moan about the UK and how the whole world should feel sorry for them. Even when they tell them while they are still in Nigeria they feel that you are discouraging them from coming to the UK. I know a few of them and i have no sympathy for them 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Raalsalghul: Well, perhaps for people in the UK to express their displeasure and pain points. Could also serve as a means for other people intending to go to the UK to prepare adequately because most Nigerians can be so mentally lazy when it comes to researching. |

Raalsalghul: In the group I'm in, a lot of them made that mistake. I no longer pity them. You are coming to a place you know no one, even if you know someone, has little or no help to render to your settling in, you rush carry your whole family Waka come... Indians will wait till they get COS before they bring their family. Lazy Nigerian youths. 1 Like |

Raalsalghul:Nigerians complain too much! All they need is a little discomfort and they will start shouting and looking for someone to blame. Same people that will overdo things , cut corners and never follow rules or procedures. The bolded for example is the best and easiest way to relocate but thanks to Nigerians who will make their siblings or cousin or strangers their spouses have now made bringing in dependents tacky. Our annoying attitude just dey follow us everywhere. Imagine when you go to white stores irrespective of the cost of product you pay with credit card. But Nigerian stores won't take credit card but cash if you don't purchase goods up to 10 pounds. They want to invade tax. Guess what! If action is taken against them, they will start playing the racist card, shouting and painting UK bad! Right now I am crying for UK , our own too much abeg! |

To be honest it's better to go for carer job than student visa if your course is not a stem course cos you won't get job nor sponsorship after study. Why spend 15k study international business when you can use 13k get work visa. The only tip I can add to those going for care job is not to work for agency, dont work domicilary care but a direct care home that takes care of clients in their care home cos they get alot of jobs and they are the one that ask for agency staffs to work for them when their is shortage of staffs 7 Likes 2 Shares |

ednut1:The matter tire me! Everybody wants to move any which way. I'm praying UK puts a 5 years time frame on divorce for Nigerians (couples should be married for at least five years before they can divorce ) and make a rule that couples must live together, maybe all these fake spouse nonsense will stop. I don't know who swear for us as Nigerians o 😒 3 Likes |

Please can you tell me more about this uk carer |
Re: Carers In The UK: Can You Please Share Your Honest Experience by MT: 2:52pm On Mar 12, 2023 |
Sweetvie: The worst is on the visa that will be issued, they are tied to the agency that is bringing them in, which means they cant work for any other company unless for 20 hours in the same grade level that they are working for their main agency. Naija people ignore this. They still go work for other company with lesser grade than they are recruited. The agency that bring them in also give them fewer hours to work most times, which means at the end of the month they cant meet up with the minimum requirement for salary. UK immigration is like a big brother, they track, monitor and record everything. If you breach any part of their rules, they are unforgiving. They will simply ask you to depart the UK for the breach. Please ask enough questions before you buy into this scheme which seems rosy. 2 Likes |
