Always getting everything wrong. ESG is being piled on. It's a dog's leash.
Wokeness is permeating in the media, of course the media knows it's lying But the narrative has to be maintained.
Myopic as you are , ululating because Fox Corp is promoting Diversity Equity and Inclusion. You don't do this you get slayed by the media.

Wokeness everywhere. Netherlands farmers are protesting today about the govt plan to forcefully buy and shut down 3000 farms to save the planet from climate crisis - in reality they will put up housing for migrants instead.

FYI DEI is an important score for ESG ranking.

We know the Catholic church is conservative and demands celibacy for it's clergy. A few rotten apples exist. There are many straight up catholic clergy, a majority of them. The left needs societal breakdown so it will attack Catholics for the sins of a few.
Do you notice the inconsistency in your logic?

If the a Catholic priest is found to be abusing children, then he's a rotten apple, and he's actions shouldn't be a reflection on the church.
(Despite records of the church's active hand in helping cover up these cases)

But when a drag performer is being inappropriate with children, then this a conspiracy by the left to trans your kids, and drag performances should be outlawed.

What are your views about Islam on child abuse and sev?
I consider them disgusting, and morally repugnant. I don't mind offenders facing prosecution wherever possible.

What strikes me is how the min culprits , the paedos smugglers ring is hardly investigated.. eg Epstein sources of his kids Or his clients
Abhorrent as it is , the ,catholic church has been smeared for it's handling with top level investigations. Manyf young girls who cross the border end up getting abused and trafficked So I think border control is critical

In the United States, the investigations have been led by state attorneys general, and in some cases, the FBI has been involved in investigating specific cases

Seen the left, the media and Hollywood outrage over Epstein clients? When it's a Catholic priest It's news all over

Washington Elementary School district votes to not employ teachers from a Christian college because

Part of their (xtian college) values, is to influence, engage, and transform the culture with truth by promoting the biblically informed values that are foundational to Western civilization, including the centrality of family, traditional sexual morality and lifelong marriage between one man and one woman.’

Her allies on the board were equally troubled. Kyle Clayton, gay and married, said, “I would never want … my son to talk about his two dads and be shamed by a teacher who believed a certain way and was at a school that demands that they teach through God’s, their biblical lens.”

Suppose a school board bans employing queers because their values are different from the biblical teachings.

What does ESG have to do with diversity?

What does ESG have to do with diversity?

As usual you lack knowledge and blurt out emotionally on things you know nothing about
Here is a response from an AI bot

DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) is an important aspect of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing. ESG investing takes into account environmental, social, and governance factors in investment decisions, and DEI is a key component of the social pillar of ESG.

A company that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive is more likely to have positive social outcomes and create sustainable long-term value for all stakeholders. A diverse workforce can bring a variety of perspectives and experiences to the table, which can lead to better decision-making and innovation. An equitable and inclusive workplace can create a sense of belonging and foster employee engagement and retention.

In addition, companies that prioritize DEI are more likely to avoid legal and reputational risks associated with discrimination and bias. These risks can have negative impacts on a company's financial performance and can damage its reputation among investors, customers, and other stakeholders.

Overall, DEI is an important component of ESG investing because it reflects a company's commitment to social responsibility and sustainability, and can ultimately impact its financial performance and reputation .

List American banks using ESG to advance credit

Here are some examples of American banks that are using ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria to advance credit:

Bank of America: Bank of America has set a goal to deploy $1.5 trillion in ESG investments by 2030, including lending, investing, and other activities. The bank also offers sustainability-linked loans and green bonds.

JPMorgan Chase: JPMorgan Chase has committed to financing $200 billion in clean energy and sustainable development projects by 2025. The bank also offers sustainability-linked loans and green bonds.

Citigroup: Citigroup has committed to financing $1 trillion in sustainable projects by 2030, including renewable energy and sustainable transportation. The bank also offers sustainability-linked loans and green bonds.

Wells Fargo: Wells Fargo has set a goal to provide $200 billion in financing for sustainable businesses and projects by 2030. The bank also offers sustainability-linked loans and green bonds.

Goldman Sachs: Goldman Sachs has committed to providing $150 billion in financing and investment for sustainable projects and businesses by 2030. The bank also offers sustainability-linked loans and green bonds.

Morgan Stanley: Morgan Stanley has committed to financing $250 billion in sustainable projects and businesses by 2030. The bank also offers sustainability-linked loans and green bonds.

This thread is reminiscent of media coverage in the US and what Fox News does to influence it. Here we have a vocal minority like Fox News(basilico) with a big microphone (can spend days and nights on this thread) who doesn't even live in the US or for that matter has been to the US, basically directing this topic by repeated postings of misinformation/conspiracy nuttery. And this thread spends pages and pages, discussing/debunking it. All the while, by spending the energy doing so, it makes it a bigger story.

Suppose a school board bans employing queers because their values are different from the biblical teachings.

First, your analogy is wrong. A more accurate one would be suppose a school board bans employing queers because they teach queer to students.

Teachers are not supposed to teach their "values" unless it's on the curriculum. So a Christian teacher teaching Christianity in a non-christianity lesson, and your so called "queers" teaching "queer" in a non-queer lesson would both be sacked.

The below should be wrongful sacking. It would be like sacking a teacher because they are Christian and seen praying on Sunday, but I'm pleased they even hired the person in the first place knowing she is gay.

Yeah, and it was the CEO of SVB that pushed the deregulation. This is a big story. 97% of depositors had ~250,000 in the bank, which would be insured. Some people who had their Retirement money in the bank will may be fuxed. But, It's the institutional depositors who had millions in the bank who didn't pull it out that will be fuxed. Those depositors in turn may not be able to make payroll etc. etc. This bank also held a lot of the money for start ups, some of the most innovative new companies in the US. Will fux the US not only in the short term but in the long term as well. And the CEO, walked away richer than when he started. American Capitalism through the eyes of Republicans.

Sounds to me like you are saying Fox, with its low scoring on the ESG scale, is more likely to have detrimental social outcomes, and not create sustainable long term value for all stakeholders. They sure have been detrimental to your ability to reason and your long term value.

I'll modify later. Tesla has a lower ESG than Exxon Mobil.
Think about that

When you have a low rating you make efforts to improve You are under the dictates of the WEF promoted ESG. They don't need the military to push their agenda. You shall eat ze bugs by 2030.

Why should I think about that? Is it not possible that Exxon Mobile "is diverse, equitable, and inclusive is more likely to have positive social outcomes and create sustainable long-term value for all stakeholders" than Tesla?

Exxon Mobile has after all been around a long long time, so it could have learnt and done what Tesla isn't doing yet.

Climate crisis fueled by fossil fuels while Tesla main aim is clean EVs.
Ironic. I'll look up the link Now that you have brought it up.Would that be investing in ESG in the money market or securing a good rating.
We had CSR and then Ethical Ratings before ESG

Bottom line ESG can make or break a company. In years to come who knows how ESG is applied. Sri Lanka had 98/100 ESG rating yet they starved , a popular revolution overthrew the govt mainly because there was not enough food...Besides debt problems fueled by lack of earnings from the agricultural industry
