Orban over Onuachu...
If e pain you, go and sit down in the bush... There's nothing Onuachu would offer us that Osimhen and Moffi won't...but Orban offers us a good set piece option..
Una too dey pay attention to goals thereby ignoring every other qualities in a player... That was what made some people here say Onuachu and Simmy were better strikers than Osimhen back then ..

Gift Orban in Super Eagles 🦅 I will not say too early if he can do it but personally I don’t rate Belgium league.

Yes 16 goals in 18 matches this season is crazy stat.If I have my way this guy should join U20 team but if Peseiro believes in him why not....

Well, the Belgian league might not be a top league, but it has a reputation of producing talents.. A lot of Nigerian players are made it out of the league in recent years too.. But honestly, it isn't just the goals he is scoring that impress me.. It's his overall style of play..He is a rugged striker that seem to be good at set pieces.... It makes sense to have forward with different attributes in your team, cus there's always a point during a game that you would need them.

How many set piece has he scored in his career? This silly sentence of yours just show you do not watch football.
Iheanacho, Etebo and Simon scores free kicks too, so rest!
Leave the boy alone to develop before putting your silly pressure on him!
Onuachu has scored in tough matches for Nigeria until Moffi does same do not ever compare him to Onuachu in the Super Eagles!

He lacks decorum and does not listen to advice! Yes, he is a nice guy but you will still notice that he does not have good parenting in the way he talks and behaves sometimes.
Ppogbae:
Osimhen stating that he "dreams" of playing in the PL is bad PR.

Wait till the season is over.

The player who is matured for call up is Victor Boniface USG.
We need to let Orban concentrate on his blossoming career for now!

Let orban prove himself at the big 3 before we will ascertain if he is a flash in the pan or real deal. We have had history of flash in the pan players tearing that league.

Which one is big 3? How many players do we even have in the big 3?

Orban over Boniface. Orban is quickfire, Obafemi Martins kind of player with a right foot. Onuachu offers more of what Boniface offers. Nigeria plays quick counter-attacking football. Orban will thrive more in that system than Boniface.

Former coach of the super falcons,Coach Ismaila Mabo is dead.
I remembered how the team fared under him.
He took Nigeria to it's first ever female world cup in '99 and also reached the QF
Great coach I must confess.
He died at the age of 78.

I bet you never watched Boniface play. Boniface is a more skillful Moffi not similar to Paul at all. Tall, skillful, elegant and technical. Orban is a fantastic player but he needs not to be rushed! He just broke out allow him grow and get the required confidence and experience.

You too dey spit nonsense for mouth. You will remove a player that scored 17 goals in that same league for another with just 7?
Onauchu gave a man of the man performance against Chelsea and does score hattrick regularly in that same league. So dead that silly talk.
Onuachu not starting the last two games has nothing to do with form but the coach trying to satisfy the players who have been in the team for long.
No Edozie, Aribo too. So rest kid!

Lol, Onuachu is just like Simmy. No exceptional goal. He's of no use to our style of play. Gift is much better than him.

The big 3 or big 5 means Epl, la liga, Seria A, Lique 1 or bundesliga. Presently, we have around 8 forwards/wingers at the big 3 and around 10 at the big 5. Scoring at lower level leagues aren’t an indication that you can displace players at the big 5

I believe he should be invited and let’s see what he can offer.

To be sincere, to go to a team and instantly assume free kick responsibilities is not only very impressive, but you must have been very exceptional in training that they don’t argue with you. And he scored. 4 Goals.

Free kicks are usually hotly contested in teams.

Has he been playing so far. I literally forgot about him 🤦
He comes in as a sub most times. I remember their last match against Spurs, when Ayew missed a penalty. Dennis is now a shadow of his Watford self. He can't beat a player, no longer takes those shots again.

Between him, Dessers and Aribo, I don't know who flop pass. And to think we all expected great things from them, considering their previous season exploits.

Those goals against Egypt, Benin and Lesotho are what? Teenagers plenty for here oo. They don't even watch football based all their text on highlights and hearsay!

Denis will still play. I honestly had reservations about Aribo’s move to the saints. I still don’t know his position cm or str. When he moved I asked myself, is he suppose to contribute goals or assist to the saints ??

I have never rated onuachu, based on his style of play. Prolific, yes. But if he still plays like he does in the eagles, mehn, no case for him.

Coming to Dennis. He is a very good forward player. It’s not easy to play for that nforrest team with almost 20 other new signings. It’s time he needs. Time on the pitch and Dennis will blow. He is getting little time lately.

Don't mix things up...be specific... List the big 3 ..and then round it up with the big 5..

Out of all the forwards we have in the so called big 3 and big 5, how many of them are proven?

Orban looks a special player however I'm also of the school of thought that it would be too soon to extend him a SE invite. In my opinion I think he should be allowed to fully settle playing top flight European football before we bring him to the senior national team. This will give adequate time to see if his form is a flash in the pan or the real deal. It's one thing to be naturally talented but the mentality of an elite player is a different kettle of fish and it's too early to judge if Gift has it only time will eventually reveal that.

If by next qualifiers in September he's still doing the business then by all means call him up.
