Yes. Its the minimum requirement.

The details on these cases, are they made publicly available, or it's just snippets that are released, cause e go make sense to dey get the full details on these cases made available.

This whole name game thing sounds silly sha, and it's very possible it was one party at the centre that were determined to win a case by any means possible that set a precedence of this nature, and it's been going on and on since then.

Did he submit a certificate bearing Patrick to INEC?. That should be the first question.

If he submitted WAEC bearing Gbadebo, then he is good to go.

If he submitted both WAEC (Gbadebo) and MIT (Patrick) certificates then he might be sitting on a long thing, but if he submitted only the WAEC certificate bearing Gbadebo then he is good to go.

I think he submitted only WAEC certificate so he should be fine, unless someone has more information on that.

Obi don kukuma talk am come out say wike work against am..

I trust wike to respond 😁
Wike should be scared now. He has lost political power and if his boy Fubara loses this governorship ( something that is more likely) he will have no where to hide. Even Rivers will not be safe for him as Amaechi will come for his head.

Pitching battle against Obi after what transpired with Atiku and the PDP, it's game over for Wike.

Tinubu submitted a fake certificate but everyone pretended it's nothing.

This precedent was set 3yrs ago i think under an APC govt and it was APC that was at the receiving end of the judgement.

They usually release the judgement to the public especially for academic purposes.

I don't know why INEC postponed that election. All doubts would have been cleared by now.

Fubara will win that election with over 60% of votes.

This was how people were dashing PDP 40% of Rivers presidential votes on this thread and I was telling them PDP won't get up to 20% which turned out to be right

Na we dey on ground. Forget polls like this. Sim Fubara is the next governor of Rivers State for the next 4 years.

Your words and the picture evidence didn't march.

Anyways, it will be a tough one. I sincerely doubt Fubara will win. But let's just watch.

While governors like Obaseki are shittiing in their pants and begging up and down, Wike is telling all the opposition parties in Rivers State to combine together and present one candidate grin

Meanwhile, someone is still saying Fubaras loss is looking likely. Apparently, people didn't learn anything from Obis loss in the last election.

Fubara will win convincingly. I am ready to bet any amount I can afford on it.

In fact is I remember correctly it is how our very first speaker was ousted. Something about a fake degree. A lot of people are coasting on made up or inflated credentials. Na when you enter politics your enemies will run oppo research. At that point your competence doesn't matter any more.

It happened to kemi adeosun for instance

Kemi Adeosun's NYSC discharge certificate was clearly forged as confirmed by NYSC.

Cashless policy cannever work in Nigeria.. atleast for now. In any way you look at it we are not ready.

Last week, I was debited at a petrol station, even though the transaction declined. The money didn't reverse..and I haven't had the time to visit banks(which are usually crowded) to lodge a complaint. Yesterday I went to a restaurant to eat. I made a 1k transfer to them through my FCMB, it brought an error msg. I then used Opay. On sending it, they received an alert for the first one which declined. I couldn't stop the Opay transaction anyway.

I asked them to check for two credit alert. They checked and it was just one. But both banks debited me. I waited for like 5min and left. I dont know when I will have the time to visit that side again. So that money like this na story...though I gave them my number.

So.many people have lost a lot of money during this whole nonsense. Especially the mamas and illiterates.
The volume of electronic transactions these days have skyrocketed and our banks never prepped for it. Network glitches is an all time high. Money sent takes days to credit the beneficiary sometimes.

I have personally had issues where money I transfered took 2days to credit. One was 400k. Another was 120k. Plus other little little amounts. And the beneficiaries showed me their app history. One even brought statement of account from bank.

An ill thought out policy.

I assume you stay in a major city, If you are having this typ of issue in a major city, imagine what those living in rural areas face

That one dey one side.

Another thing is that politics is really big in Rivers State. It is nothing like I have seen in any other state.

The survival, existence and ability to live large of a lot of people depend on politics. They don't care much about the presidential which was why they could vote Obi

For governorship, they know SIM must enter for the contracts and money to keep rolling in.

Whats wrong with that

Most Nigerians give their children one English name for a reason, to be used in Western society
No mind dem; seriously it is a rarity to have one name in Naija naa, like say dem no dey attend naming ceremony, Grans will give theirs, Parent will give theirs, Religion Muslim or Christian name sef go dey...
I don't understand how grown ups especially Yoruba's can even seeing this as an issue... Only my grandma calls me by my Muslim name which according to our tradition should be my official name but it is not, so if for any reason I become a devout or decide to start using it for whatsoever reason pay then I am now a fraud?

Funny enough the man used the same certificate to be a Senator. He was a senator before David Lyon pick him as running mate. He just use him own to spoil David Lyon raggae.

What certificate he tenders is what matters.

If he submitted only WAEC before INEC and the court, then he is good to go (assuming the WAEC has Gbadebo)

I agree with this view. It all depends on what certificates he submitted to INEC along with his nomination form; If he's foolish enough to submit certificates with different names along with his INEC nomination form, then he's a jonzing guy. That means he's not smart and didn't learn from the Bayelsa governorship case.

If he has certificates all bearing Patrick Rhodes-Vivour, whether plus or minus Gbadebo, he's good to go. That said, I don't think his case would be like David Lyon's, mainly cause of the institutions he finished from. The institutions he finished from are too reputable for this case to fly, most of them are institutions that don't joke with records.

Nigerian institutions are very incompetent and low-trust, and that's why something like that David Lyon's deput's case can even be made an issue.
