They dumped aviation oil on the propeller which made the reaper to malfunction forcing the naval forces to perform an emergency landing for the UAV.... It wasn't shot down.... Shooting down the UAV will be an act of war.... But the Russians can claim this was a mistake as it's an international space where both forces have to coexist
