Pls my people, regarding the news of the deportation of 700 indians let us be careful in selecting an agent and make sure you know the documents your Agent is filing for you. These Indian students had completed their studies and even completed their post study work experience. It was only at the point of applying for permanent residency that the fraud was discovered. What is this telling us? Any document you file is stored in the system and at the time of applying for permanent residency, they go back to it to investigate. Pls, pls when using an Agent be careful because some of the affected Indian students said they were not aware of documents filed by their Agent. 6 Likes |

Mankind15: For a family of 5, you will require a lot, depending on the duration of the programme your POF will increase (Tuition + 10,000 + 4000+3000+3000+3000= ******+ return flight tickets+ miscellaneous) If you are selling your properties, then you have to look for other things to explain your home ties since you have sold your properties The earlier you apply the better, i think processing time is 10 weeks now, but you can get a decision much earlier. |

Antyxx: - when did you have your medical request letter? - when did you complete the Medical exams? And when you completed your medical exams the last time, did you submit the e-medical slip given to you to IRCC via webform? |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Welsh2np: 6:02pm On Mar 16, 2023 |
Mclairity1: The province is great and it’s in the Atlantic Canada. And as for MUN- it’s also beautiful. What exactly do you want to know? - it’s also about if the university wants to consider you as much as you want to consider them, lol. |

PPR Alert !! 2nd Time applicant Self sponsored 1st refusal: 16th October 2022 Applied : 26th June 2022 Refusal reason: 1. Financial and asset 2. Inconsistent reason for study GCMS Notes: Finance: VO was concerned about lump sums in account and if I truly had access to it. Establishment: VO was concerned to know study plan Reconsideration sent within 10days of refusal - November 10th No change in status. Feedback from Nairobi mail was that application was still under review as at Jan3rd 2023. Reapplication: 31st January 2023 Medical Updated: 13th February Eligibity : 15th Febrauary PPR: 16th March What I did differently: *Explained each lump sum deposit in account. *Paid 1 year tuition payment *Sent full documents of my other landed properties (sent via webform but mentioned on SOP) *Pictures of me and my siblings *Revamped SOP in which I stressed the need and importance of the program to my career prospect in Nigeria *consent letter from my spouse, attaching her employment history and MBS of salary account. *Increased prayers (yes....divine intervention) *I reuploaded my previous medical via webform before it was passed. *Sent weekly webform and mail reminders to nairobi on my application with a subtle request for an early decision from 4th week *Called IRCC to follow up about the status after 6weeks. Observation: I think VOs work with a marking scheme (...these are just my thoughts): Tution Paid: 20% , Home tie: 20%, Purpose of study (SOP): 20%, Financials: 20%, others (like Medical):20% Once you scale through the pass mark (seem the bar is sentimental) , then you get your PPR! I must commend my wife who turned out overnight to become an expert researcher and helped to navigate this application to success. To you all here who also contribute to this tread. Your observation, agruments, pointers etc are all helpful. Please keep up the selfless service. It shall end in praise for us all. 15 Likes |

Mclairity1: Accommodation is relatively fair. You can get an off-campus accommodation between $400 $ $500 or on campus (with meal plans) for about $7224 per annum. - As for tuition fee: perhaps there is deposit for some programs, I do not know, but most programs DO NOT require any deposit to secure a seat... Jsyk, Uni admissions in CA are competitive at all levels especially for thesis-based programs. I wish you all the best |

You can apply for an extension. The process is straightforward, and it's nothing compared to the initial application from Nigeria. jimikata: 1 Like |
