If a country's budget is 20 billion dollars, there are some obligatory spending like loan servicing, recurrent expenditures, subvention payment etc which cannot be avoided that will take about 80% of the 20 billion. I don't think this will affect the election na. Election starts by 8.am and the Oro rites is usually between midnight and 5.30am daily. I think the news is just sensationalism. I sabi people from that side who are sons of the soil and I was told the Oro is done yearly, this is not the first time; It just coincided with the election this time.

Me and u are not saying the same thing. This particular oro rite is an annual event that spans 3 days ( Wednesday to Friday ) . According to those who live in the community and have experienced it in past few years , the oro rites will end 5.30am on Saturday morning .
