Truly it's not only Igbos who voted Obi in Lagos presidential election but the voters includes many religion conscious Yorubas who hate Tinubu's Muslim-Muslim ticket but tomorrow is a different case entirely. Except the intention is to trade one christian for another, Sanwo Olu will sweep Lagos votes tomorrow.

The truth is that Lagosians are choking and tired.

They so much yearn for freedom from Tinubu and his criminal structure in Lagos that has institutionalized multiple taxation, agberos, ethnic tension and mismanagement of huge amounts of revenue accruing to Lagos State.

Anybody you see supporting Sanwolu in Lagos is either not living in Lagos or is a tout who depends on “owo mi da” for his daily bread or is an ethnic bigot who doesn’t mind cutting his nose to spite his face.

Lagos Must Be Free!

The only way tinibu and his thugs can continue to hold lagos is to continue to whip up igbo propaganda during every election.

Still surprised how many people are making the Obidient movement an Igbo agenda just to make it seems like it's all about IPOB.

If you speak in favour of Obi, they will call you Igbo or IPOB....

They're now saying that any protest is an Igbo protest....

Even the 20-10-20 is claimed to be an Igbo agenda...

It is devide and conquer tactics. They want well meaning Nigerians to hate LP .

What are the IBOs looking for in Lagos? This is pure madness!!

Lagos as Abuja and New York are metropolitan cities which always have diverse multicultural inhabitants. What makes the case of Lagos even more peculiar is that it has been a capital state for more than 70% of Nigeria's existence as a protectorate, thus it was built by the commonwealth of all Nigerians irrespective of tribal or religious affiliation.

My state of Origin isn't Lagos, however I was born here and have always paid all my tax here from inception (which is currently more than enough to feed ten people 3 square meals of balanced diet for 31 days every month). I also know my boundaries, even though I was born here, this isn't my state of Origin and I respect and live in harmony with the indigenous people of the land.

I have contributed to the growth of Lagos through my tax and I have also contributed immensely to the growth of my local community through csr projects and infrastructural development (which ought to be the government's job).

Now, for a fellow non-indigen like me to wake up and threaten me to leave a metropolis in my country just because I don't buy into his political ideology is quite baffling and mind boggling. This kind of savage acts exist mildly in some other parts of Africa but the threshold to which it has gained relevance among a minority set in the south west of Nigeria is incredibly nauseating.

I hope Nigeria and Nigerians purge themselves of the slow killing vices of tribalism and bigotry. No nation which picks up sides and fights against itself can ever stand. Nigeria has a bountiful load of talents leading and making giant strides all over the world except from Nigeria itself.

May God deliver us and give us the strength to stand up to tyranny and agents of division and hatred, amen.

Ibos might be guilty of attaching too much emotions into whatever do. But make no mistake, most times they see and identify a good product from a far. Rejecting Buhari holistically in 2015 while many of us trooped out to vote for him is a one in a million instances for careful examination. No doubt Tinubu will perform better than Buhari, but truth is; for justice, fairness and equitable co-existence, even though it's southerners turn to produce the next president: It is completely not the turn of SW to do so. The right of first refusal squarely belong to the South Easterners. And therein lies the burden for the present mandate holder to that throne.

I am even bewildered at the old age foolishness of MC oluomo. He's not smart at all. This is politics don't do more than yourself. This same politicians might decide to have an igbo as president, and what if that president was oppressed in Lagos by Oluomo what do you think his fate will be? What if one big igbo man contract foreign assassins on top his head? No matter how rugged you are once dem don table your matter, you must fall or you go crayfish one day.All because of stupid politics that is no friend no foe but self-interest.

You are the ones sowing tribal hate and all other tribes can see who you guys are. I am really sorry for you guys, u keep trying to instigate xenophobia in Lagos hoping the FG will protect you but it won't work. When the gbege start, true patriots of Nigeria will rid you useless goons of the surface of lagos. because you guys are not from Lagos you want to instigate problems in another person's land and scatter a place it took everyone(British, FG, LASG & the good non-indigenes of Lagos) years to build. You will not survive it. I am praying you try your madness tomorrow. That revolution that has been boiling underground will erupt. We are waiting for you.

"Some yorubas behave like illiterates, like they cannot reason and tribalistic. Even educated ones living abroad which is beyond shocking. These are the same people that always cry racism abroad since they are more darker in complexion and more susceptible to racism, yet championing tribalism.

The sensible ones should call your foolish ones to order, because this thing is getting out of hand. Go on facebook and twitter, even so-called South South have had enough from you people.

If you don't want One Nigeria anymore, fine, agitate for your yoruba nation, so you can keep your Lagos to yourself, simple. But now, we are still under One Nigeria, anyone can contest, it's left for Lagos indigenes to vote their choice. This is how civilized people and nation work!"
Their political elites are causing the damage. The poor in Lagos live face to face but each time election draws near, the slogan is Usually " shinedu is about to take your land" After election the poor among them begins another phase of poverty.
This has been the case since the days Azikiwe contested for West Premier. From then till now. Igbos have been murdered because of this, went to war and killed in their millions. After 60yrs the elites still find a way to make that narrative sell.
Nigerians need a new level of study to understand how their poor masses think.
