I found this part perplexing. on one hand I'm glad he's talking about the common man, on another his crying about such a person's plight shows he's lost touch with reality of the common man so much that he sees one instance a cry worthy incident when people such as that girl are a dime a dozen

A few days later I saw him do photo ops with the said girl and news saying he gave the girl money to buy the oven and then it all connected. he wanted to give money to the girl but also wanted to score cheap political points with the 75K he's about to dish out. all the crying, storytelling and eventual giving of 75k was all planned. it wouldn't even shock me if it's later found out that girl is not actually poor and is just acting a script. nothing a Nigerian politician can do will shock me
