Seyi makinde is learning very well from wike.

Learning what exactly? Cos as it stands, Seyi is in big mess, things may not turn out well for him as APC got huge gains following the way last election turn out 4 them. Y'all need to see the aggressive campaigning he did over the week, he did the same with Sanwo-olu just that he didn't went out himself. If he eventually win, that'll be as a result of the fact people don't really like APC candidate. Just like blueraydick said, I voted Adelabu cos none of the major candidate impressed me

I knew LP is not going anywhere the moment I saw their numbers of seats in the National Assembly.

Less than 8% seats in the senate
Less than 10% seats in the House of Representatives.

What that means is they can't even block any legislative action because they lack the necessary numbers.

Anyway, if they can win 4 or 5 state Government seats, it will be a great boost for the movement because the state Governors political strength will be necessary to fortify the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
Before this election did you mention that LP will win any rep seat not to talk of senate?

LP are the true winners of this election no matter the outcome of today.

That Fashola 2011 % is not correct.

Fashola won with 1.5m and the guy that came second had 300k votes. Fashola won with over 1.2m difference.

The news of widespread voter apathy is very sad to see and I blame Obi. He has been an extremely poor mobilizer.

Throughout the campaign he has literally been pushed by the Obidients. He doesn't know how to galvanize and tap into the feelings of his own base.

He was basically robbed of his votes and rather than call for peaceful protests and be a rallying point, he kept deciding to douse the flames of his supporters.

Many Obidient voters are highly demoralised, the energy is dissipating because of the hopelessness of the situation.

Look at Lagos, everyone knew what to expect today, everyone knew that thugs would show themselves today, how can't you take proactive measures to ensure that your base is protected. Why not call some powerful people to mount pressure on security agencies to do the right thing? How don't you reach out to APC stalwarts to get the top brass to speak out against their boys or just do something, anything! About security of your base?

Well however it turns out, I personally can beat my chest and say "I did my best". I played my own role in our own democracy, in trying to change our country for good.

The last 8 years was one of radical propaganda. Let's see where we go from here.

U interpreting the stats the wrong way . I think the way the stat is computed is such that; like u pointed out Fashola won 1.5m votes and that’s 51% of the total valid votes . It doesn’t matter what the first runner up scored ; so far if u add all other valid votes together and it amounts to 49% of the votes; then maybe the stats is correct

This is coming from u who did everything possible to criticize “peaceful protesters” during ENDARS and when the peaceful protests were hijacked by state and none state elements ; u turned back to tell us “ I told u so”

Peter Obi is not an overly emotional being and knows a peaceful protest following an election he lost will be turned over its head and will likely get him arrested for treason . If he doesn’t become the president heaven will not fall Abeg !

Politics is really big in Rivers State. Too much money is available to spend and the money gets to a lot of people especially in this electioneering period.

These people are ready to do anything to preserve their source of income.

Where did Fashola see 1.5 million votes in 2011?

Omo, Politicians were literally writing results in their strongholds those years.

Of course the obidients are undoubtedly the big winners of this election.

What we achieved is unheard of in any part of the world..

Labor party in 2019 ; 5 thousand votes.

Labor party in 2023; 9 million supporters (including those disenfranchised around the country and numbers manipulation).

All in 7 months. As of June, lots of skeptics and pessimists said obi's decamping to labor from PDP signalled his sojourn into political oblivion. Called him a joker.
But look what he has achieved in just 7 months. Many senators and house of reps while winning the most states out of any other candidate (including rivers and akwaibom).

We have achieved more than was envisaged by the skeptics. A new party winning tinubu in Lagos is no small deal. It's a major accomplishment for a structureless party.

Peter Obi should have also lobbied the International community especially after the Presidential elections.

Since hotspots for voter suppression have been identified, make a list of these places and ensure the International community takes interest in them.

For example, I sure know there will be no thugs in Ikorodu disturbing voters. Those are the places APC will use to justify the election as been peaceful. That party mad. grin

No the stat is not correct.

The total valid votes is just a little over 2m. Total valid votes no reach 2.1m sef and Fashola alone had 1.5 out of the 2m votes.

Some people post public officials numbers or addresses online.
Are these details legally supposed to be public properties since they are public officials or is against the law?
It's illegal, but McOluomo can't be threatening and maiming in Nigeria while his kids are holed up in the US. People who make violence their bread and butter will only respond to similar or greater show of violence.
