ARITHMETIC: says that SEVEN LOAVES divided by FOUR THOUSAND PEOPLE (excluding women and children,) equals FOUR THOUSAND STILL-HUNGRY PEOPLE! FAITH says that SEVEN LOAVES divided by FOUR THOUSAND people equals FOUR THOUSAND satisfied people, and SEVEN BASKETS OF LEFTOVER CRUMBS.

CHEMISTRY: says that WATER plus DUST equals CLAY; FAITH says that SPIT plus DUST equals NEW FLESH.

Natural Law is UNPROFITABLE:

Imaginary Idolatry is Faith in something that isn't a god.

Realistic Idolatry is Faith in something that IS, to all intents and purposes, a god.

Realistic Idol gods have specific Rules, Services, and Attributes.

Imaginary Idol gods have changeable, made-up rules, no real services, and attributes that do not have any direct practical application.

The best use for an Imaginary Idol god is as a PLACEBO, and a RALLYING BANNER.

Few Realistic Idol gods claim to be The Supreme Being.

They have ways of pretending to bestow Powers. They are best at imparting Knowledge.

Their Knowledge is like Narcotic Drugs. Once accepted, It creates a Dependency whereby one tries to feed upon it.

It can even unlock the first five TALENTS. Just not the sixth-through-tenth- EVERLASTING LIFE. The gods cannot provide that, because they do not have It themselves.

It has the Power to destroy them.

They teach EVIL for two reasons:
