The entire electoral process in Nigeria is a sham! The entire country is riddled with voter intimidation, election manipulation, thuggery, voters inducement, voter suppression etc. This is a national problem that will not go away any time soon.

No saint among them, what we have is one with an edge to outmuscle the others. Nobody should form pope among Naija politicians.

On the way to sallah wearing that Kwankwansiya red cap wella in Lagos . Thatโ€™s why Iโ€™m surprised the red cap fraud no get reasonable votes outside Kano despite having fanatics spread across the Niger

It might not have been a northerner.

Everyone could have voted for NNPP. Who the candidate is is a better question than 'a northerner voted NNPP'.

Obi has lost back to back election, receiving remarkable L along the way. cheesy

Contested as VP in 2019, L.

Went to court to challenge results, Another L

Contested as President in 2023, big L again

Now in court to challenge result, Another fat incoming L

Who this man offend?
GRV walking in Peter Obi's footsteps.

Contested Ikeja LG chairmanship election under Kแปwa Party in 2017, L

Contested Senatorial election under PDP in 2019, Another big fat L

Contested as Governorship candidate under LP, A massive L yet again.

Honestly, today's election just reinforced that thought in me.

Gbadebo lost PU to APC.

Even Jimi Agbaje couldn't survive those times he powered in, despite never throwing jabs at the Yorubas. GRV's was suicidal.

GRV should have gone for House of rep or Senate.

If people vote in that huge number last presidential election and we still had 27% of registered voters that should tell us something about our base number.

did you observe all the polling unit in Nigeria before you arrived at this conclusion?
are figures arrived at by touring all polling unit in the country?

Your defensive mechanism hinges on desperation like APC. INEC stays say 93 million eligible voters from record and only 27% were able to vote.

And you're asking me if I toured the entire polling units?

Leave a better legacy for the upcoming generation, bro

Lol, the whole point was built in who did the voting when you ain't close to sure who did.

Regional parties still make their marks on other regions provided they present a candidate who's acceptable to the locals.

Didn't quote you to get a re-quote, rather, to show a flaw in reasoning. Have a nice day.

Man, don't waste your breath, or since you most likely typed this with your thumbs on a mobile phone, don't stress your thumbs...

Everything that can be said has been said a million times before, if people are still saying it, it's most likely because other people have closed their minds off to gross incompetence and general disregard of the population because of their political preferences....
It doesn't matter what happens, as long as it comes with the party, ways to defend, prop up or even totally circumnavigate the issue or issues will be devised.....
It is what it is ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

This country matter don tire me ah swear.

I just see some comments and I dey shiver how we wan move forward. That's the reason why under this Buhari govt I've removed myself from the polity. I hardly try to update myself with the politics since Bubu's second term. The ministers especially since he did his reshuffling, I hardly know them sef and which is which except the prominent one's I've known as governors before or in politics during GEJ.

It's only during this Obi wave that my interest in politics had an uptick. And I was actually hopeful a new dawn was coming. Even tho my preferred candidate Obi didn't win I'd like everyone to start focusing on holding the incoming govt and the outgoing responsible for their actions. One thing I'm glad about this election is that at least to an extent, the two major parties were put on their toes by a third force and it actually showed Nigerians and we the youths especially the power we actually wield.

But alas, what I'm seeing is people defending widespread mediocrity and dumb tribal politics that takes no one anywhere.

I'm still surprised how Nigerians are still loyal to parties in this day and age when they should be focusing on the actual candidates.

Your candidate don win, fine. Rejoice and gloat at the faces of your perceived opponents. Get over it and see sound criticism in the failures of your party's past regime and try see how your incoming president would rectify the mistakes of the past or avoid them. But mba, na mumu politics and disregard of sound judgement due to ethnicity we still dey do.
Whether if this new govt bring yeye policies no be all of us e go affect las las. Whether bubu naira redesign know whether na from Daura, Ijebu or Awka you come from, we go know.

Shebi all of us they here.... If this govt useless na we go all chop the CORN ๐ŸŒฝ together. Unless whether you japa you fit say you go escape, that's if you no get family here.

I no even know why Nigeria politics somehow dey gain my utmost attention now sef. Me wey na only the economy and policies I dey focus on.
No time to dey stress myself for bigotry politics.
